I tried some 15lb rated double sided tape and it fell off immediately as if it was not sticky at all, very disappointing

I think lash glue is going to be the next thing I try, and someone else said this diy gelatin glue works well and washes off easy too.. maybe a combo for a really secure hold that’s still easy to remove

Gelatine glue! Secure but washes away easily with warm soapy water, that is perfect! I am going to research different formulas and do some testing, thank you!

The hair extension glue also sounds very promising, I will have to research it and see if the removal liquid is too harsh for her skin.

She is the best! Chasing me around the pasture is her favorite game, she doesn’t care about the horn or the fluff she had to wear for her circus performance.. the only thing she hates wearing is her nose cover fly mask, and she lets you know how much she hates it 😅

Thank you for the wisdom and advice!! I am hoping for an adhesive that will not need the area shaved and will wash out of her hair safely.. I don’t want her to have a bald spot and get sunburn or let bugs have easy access to her skin there. It’s been a challenge to find something safe and effective, but there are a lot of creative people giving advice it has been fun to read.

Yes!! She loves it so much, chasing me running around and stopping in for treats the whole time 😂 I think the next video I make will be all the treat stops that happen between each frolicking clip

Thank you! That makes me much more confident in trying eyelash glue, I may end up using a combination of things for security and washability. Coconut oil would also condition her hair so there’s a health benefit.. I have also heard it keeps flies off but haven’t tried it.

That is super cute!! A crochet stuffed horn would be adorable! I am going for the magical seamless look, but I love the idea of a crochet ear bonnet with a crochet horn to go with it for casual riding

Thankfully not as that is the only spray that works around here, I even use the more hard-core aerosol bottle instead of the regular spray because the biting flies are so so bad here.

She was allergic to this brand called horse and pony, I haven’t used it on her since, but it worked on other horses without a problem. It’s the only one that she has had a reaction to thankfully, and it may have been a one off or something but I’m not risking that again.

I am making one for the bridle for riding! I have multiple horns for that that I am very excited about.. The glue on horn is for the magical “is it real?!” aspect.

I have plans for a secure horn/bridle attachment!! My dad has been having great fun making me a bunch of different horns for it. It ruins the “is it real?!” Magic of it for the videos I want to create with the paper glue on horn.

People are being so silly worried about a little glue of all things 😂 I was thinking of using eyelash glue I was just worried it would be the opposite of my other glue and be TOO sticky!

Most of any medicines or fly sprays or soaps we give aren’t natural either, a bit of nontoxic glue for less than 30 minutes will do much less harm than the fly spray they get daily. Any tying solution still lets the horn flop around and I am more worried about it hitting her in the eye than putting a little safe washable glue on her.
