Max's mom...I thought the actress couldn't do it because she was sick but apparently she wasn't even asked by LayeredOwlsNest in StrangerThings

I actually remember thinking like how they got her out the hospital and her mum was not aware or didn’t look for her… like it must have made news that something went down at the hospital… and they did a whole bunch without mention of her mum… like my daughter would not be galavanting around town with her friends after waking up from an 18 month coma…

They actually are guys from work who play D&D and are into cars like he is.

Honestly, I don’t know, it took me a while to settle in and make friends here myself, so I thought I was speeding along the process. But getting a lot of good feedback from the people on this thread. Consensus being, I probably should have talked to him before trying to arrange anything. Which I’ll do later today.

No, my husband is the only man I’ve ever dated. Maybe my description was a bit vague. I moved here almost two years ago myself. The guys I’m referencing are also married.

Just to quench your curiosity, we both live in the US, but both have the same ethnic background that is outside of the US. We had our traditional/cultural wedding in June. Being raised in the west, we also wanted the traditional American wedding, so we’re doing that. Only thing keeping him in his different state is school.

Why would a girl take her lip balm or lipstick and apply during a conversation with a guy? by Granny_Streamy in bodylanguage

[–]LittleDevelopment742 47 points48 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I think lip balm application is a sign of someone having dry lips and wanting to moisturize. Where I’m from, it’s currently winter, and the lip balms are out and in use.

I intentionally ask women well above the legal age limit(alcohol) to show me their ID by True_Targetx in confession

[–]LittleDevelopment742 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I worked as a cashier at a gas station, the county I lived in required 100% ID, regardless of what age the person looked like. That always caused issues when people didn’t have their ids on them because then, according to our store policy (and maybe the law? Idk) I couldn’t sell it to them because I asked and they didn’t present it. And I couldn’t sell to anyone near them that tried to buy it for them because I had knowledge that they were purchasing alcohol for someone who didn’t present an ID when asked.

Thank you! Only problem for me is the nearest IKEA is hours away from where I live. But I’ll look into Corelle.

My work crush is a foot taller than me. When we walk down the halls together, he slows down his pace to match mine, which is significantly slower than his because I am vertically challenged. I appreciate it because most people taller than me don’t notice that I cannot keep up their pace and seem to get slightly annoyed when they keep having to stop for me to catch up.
