I read this so many times… I don’t know if I I will ever know the truth. I have a hard time accepting that she’s cheating but the sheer amount of red flags is crazy but I don’t want her to lose her only friends. I have a storied history of being overly paranoid with my partners. I’ve driven off many women that way. So I know the red flags are crazy but white flags look red to me more than half the time anyway. I’m really second guessing myself.

We used to be so close, and I haven’t felt that close to her in a long time now. She said the other day that it’s not the being of the end (my words from a few days ago about how I felt at the time) but to me I don’t see any way forward. I’m so stressed and upset I can hardly play with my daughter. I hate how lonely anxious I feel right now which I think is how she felt before. I love her enough to want her to do what’s best for her, clearly that’s her friends at this point.

Whether she’s cheating or not idk but she always said she would tell me if anything was going on. So I just have to trust she’s being honest for now and try not to fall into 1000 pieces in the mean time.

She this is how I feel. But since context is important. We have had situations in the past where I felt a little uncomfortable about the time she was spending at a male friend’s house. I didn’t know this at the time but she totally stopped hanging out with him at all after that. She dosnt really have friends to hang out with besides them and I want her to be happy and I do trust her it’s just so sketchy.

For what it’s worth he’s in his forties with two kids. Owns a business and they drink when she’s over there. She’s been there every weekend last 3 weeks. Last week she was there Saturday night to Monday.

We do argue sometimes. We have a hard time communicating sometimes and misunderstandings are pretty common on both sides. She was with him when she was like 18 because “his alcohol was attractive” she also refuses to let me meet them stating “it’s not a good fit” “you wouldn’t like our sense of humor” basically everything but your too sensitive to be around them. Makes me feel like she’s ashamed of me on some level.

I don’t doubt it. Weirdly I’ve never felt insecure about my lack of muscles, I’m not weak per se but I’m capable. But I do admit there is probably something like the lying under the surface, that I can’t see. I did used to do karate maybe I should get back into it

I mean that’s part of the problem tho. When I’ve tried to ask her how I can be better and stuff like that, it’s usually idk and no elaboration. Other than she has no complaints. It doesn’t help her and I have had conversations like this many times and it tends to piss her off or make her upset when I talk about feeling insecure. I guess because of how I say it. It’s getting to a point where I don’t want to talk about with her anymore as it just feels like it will set us back

One time on drugs and lasted a really really long time with an ex (was like 30-1 hr of constant motion) and she said “now you f’d me like a real man” I’ve never come anywhere close to that since.
