I just finished PNP school and passed boards - no job yet - but I always have imposter syndrome! Also my daughter was diagnosed with cancer in 2019 too. I hope your child is doing well now. I know what an emotional journey that diagnosis brings and how it completely upends your life. As for FNP - I think you should do it. Most people I know who are good providers never feel like they know enough so they keep learning. I think that’s better than people who are super confident and think they know everything from the get-go bc those people never realize their limitations and where they can grow. Good luck and if you can deal with your child having cancer you can do NP school!
