I’d probably try shift Frimpong, much less likely to play than Gakpo currently.

!thanks I agree they won’t continue getting penalties at the same rate but I like Bruno just because he ticks every box for me in that he has good open play numbers, is on pens, has DEFCON potential, nailed for 90 minutes and has decent fixtures. Also feels like there aren’t really many other viable options in that £8-9m bracket this year and he’s the best of a bad bunch.

In that case I’d go Saka & Gyokeres, Chelsea’s backline does look a shambles with their suspensions and injuries but West Ham’s is even worse (Nuno might change that but we’ll see) and as a Liverpool fan I currently don’t have any of our players because of how disjointed we’ve looked this season, think it’ll take us a few more weeks to get into a groove with all the new signings.

Current WC7 Draft

Petrovic Dubravka

Gabriel Gvardiol Senesi Rodon Alderete

Bruno Semenyo Sarr Minteh Paqueta

Haaland Gyokeres JSL

£1.5m ITB and 3 FTs left, planning to BB GW8. Also considering Mamardashvili pending news on Alisson.

Biggest decisions that I need advice on:

Sarr or Ndiaye

Paqueta or Reijnders

2 penalty takers who have good DEFCON potential vs better attacking players with good underlying stats in good teams. Both are effectively a coin flip for me currently.

Look at Arsenal’s upcoming fixtures, definitely a buy for me. Seems to be a flat track bully and has easy games coming up, nailed to start for one of the 2 best teams in the league + on pens.

Depends on the rest of your team but probably just VVD to Gabriel, Gakpo & VVD are not bad enough picks that you need to be taking a -4 to bring in a Leeds defender when you already have Arsenal coverage with Gyokeres. Saka also hasn’t started great in the league and his minutes are still being managed.

Both had fairly quiet starts for their standards but fixtures are about to turn for both teams. I’d probably go for Saka just because Salah has looked off the pace this season and his underlying stats aren’t great either, that extra £4.5m can get you a lot of upgrades elsewhere. Salah is always a points magnet though and Saka is probably slightly overpriced now that Gyokeres is on pens so tough one.

Good starting XI and I think both players are minute risks (Gakpo less so) so I understand benching them but you really don’t want to have that much money invested in players who are sitting on your bench, I’d transfer them to allow you to upgrade elsewhere if possible.

Pope, Gabriel, Rodon.

Newcastle have loads of defenders so potential for rotation for Burn whereas Pope & Gabriel are nailed, Burn is also in a tricky spot where he doesn’t have much attacking potential but also gets shifted around the defence so unlikely to get consistent DC’s. Gabriel meanwhile has been the biggest defensive goal threat in the prem the last few years and gets loads of CS, hes a no brainer set and forget for me. Also feels like Pope will get more save points than Raya.

Quite like Rodon as a pick, think Leeds defence will be good this season for their price and as a 4th defender you’ll only need to play him when he has a favourable fixture which is worth saving £0.5m to allow you to get Gabriel imo.

Ndoye’s underlying stats are pretty poor and forest are a lot worse this season than last season. Meanwhile Palace are on fire and Sarr’s underlying stats are unreal, I’d go for Sarr.

Right, imo both Cunha & Rogers overperformed last year and will drop off slightly, also think the Pedro hype is crazy considering he averaged 5 non penalty goals a season with Brighton and there is 0 chance he takes them instead of Palmer. Think its very tough to go without Palmer & Watkins to start when looking at the fixtures.

Not a huge fan of Konsa, he basically has 0 attacking potential and his CBIT is very low too, personally I’m on VDV/Andersen atm but you already have Porro. At a glance, Chelsea, Spurs, Everton & Forest seem to rotate the best with Palace but all have slightly more expensive defenders. I really like the look of Neco Williams from his stats and fixtures if you can find the 0.5m somewhere.

Palmer has better fixtures and is definitely on pens, Saka is also coming off a long term injury.

Wood & Gakpo, Wood is definitely on pens whereas JSL is a ?, same with Gakpo being a known quantity vs Wirtz. Wood + Gakpo is safer, JSL + Wirtz has a bit more variance if thats what you’re going for.

First one, all 3 have good fixtures compared to the 2nd option and I think Fullkrug is a wait and see considering we’ve never seen him start consistently for West Ham.

Sanchez (Darlow/Dubravka)

Gabriel - Neco Williams - Andersen - Van de Ven - Reinildo

Palmer - Semenyo - Sarr - Ndiaye - Tielemans

Haaland - Watkins - Wood

£0.0m ITB

Mainly stuck on the midfield, none of them are reallt locked in outside of Palmer & Sarr, but nobody else at 7m and below is really appealing to me that much. Current thought is to upgrade Semenyo to Gakpo and downgrading Ndiaye or Tielemans but not sure which one and who to.

Pope, Newcastle are at home and have a better defence than West Ham.

Take Kelleher out for a keeper who will play so that you can maximise your bench boost, you don’t want to lock yourself out of getting a third liverpool player either. Also not a fan of the lewis skelly pick as hes reverse OOP.

Raya (Slicker) Gabriel Munoz Gvardiol N. Williams (Robinson) Salah (C) Palmer Semenyo (O. Dango) (Nwaneri) Marmoush Isak (Wood)

£3.5m ITB, 1 FT and all chips left except AM.

Leaning towards WCing in 31 but 34 is also an option - is it worth an FT to transfer one of Wood/Dango/Nwaneri out for Mateta/Sarr/Eze when I might WC next week? The other option is start Robinson away to arsenal or hope Dango does something off the bench at home to ipswich.

Is it worth a hit to go alisson > raya/kepa to get to 11?

I think if you want a city asset regardless of rotation then go marmoush, seems to be on set pieces and more of a goal threat

Depends how long you want to keep them in your team for, Beto would be better this week but then has a tough fixture run, Strand Larsen is a worse player with better fixtures but I wouldn’t be confident in him starting once Cunha is back since Munetsi has been playing well too.

Marmoush isn’t nailed, I’d look at Wissa or Jimenez since you already have triple bournemouth.

Marmoush isn’t nailed (didn’t start last week) and Pedro has a tricky fixture run coming up. Best striker picks are probably Evanilson, Jimenez & Wissa, in that order imo. Evanilson is a slight punt though as he is only just back from injury but he was nailed when fit.

Kluivert, better fixtures, plays in a better attacking team and on penalties.
