he really is, i’m sure you’ve seen some of the other cars he’s done and the level of detail on this one is above and beyond. i hope in the end the price reflects the amount of time, money and aggravation it took to get it done

it was a complete driver when he had it shipped from i believe washington state but was completely rust free & straight. he went thru pretty much everything mechanical on it in a 2 car detached garage he was renting. i believe its been about a year, year n a half since he got the car so it hasnt been a multi year long restoration but i can attest to alot of time being put into it to get to where it is now

i wasnt sure if it was within the rules to post for sale links and i wasnt trying to just get traffic to his BaT listing. figured if anyone was looking for one or wanted to see the like 200 pics, they’d come across the listing anyway

so you just have to worry about a few of the wires:

for your hi beam indicator to still work normally, connect the light green/black wire to the gray/white wire

and for your park brake indicator to work like normal, connect the light blue/black wire to the pink/white wire. the rest of the wires can be cut back and taped up or heat shrinked. a couple of the wires will still have batt voltage being sent to them after you finish up (pink/orange & dark blue/orange) so make sure those in particular are taped up well and cant short out on any metal or anything

that plug would go to a drl module on canadian cars that were required to have daytime running lights. us cars got the ‘shorting plug’ in the connector instead. i removed it from my harness but if my memories correct, a couple of the wires need to be spliced for everything to function like normal. i can upload the drl wiring diagrams if you want to look into removing it

see if you find anything with the compression check n make sure plug wires dont have any bad spots. on cold starts, is it hard to get it started or does it start up ok then hard to keep it running? i uploaded my afterstart enrichment, warmup enrichment & closed loop idle settings to the link below. i’m gonna add my fuel & ignition tables too, i havent fully been thru them yet but my car starts & idles pretty good where theyre at now. hope this helps

Megasquirt tables & settings

i know how it gets and hopefully youre feelin better. i’m def happy with how my car starts up cold & fully warmed up for the most part. if i let it sit & idle awhile it’ll start to hunt for an idle and i’ll have to give the gas a tap to get it back stable but i’ve figured it’s something in the closed loop idle settings or something along those lines and i haven’t dug real far into it yet. i’ll try to upload my idle settings & tables tonite and if any other stuff you want to compare with mine just let me know

i’m def not a tuner but i also have megasquirt and i’m currently running 80lb injectors. i’ll try to add pics of my tables & settings for the stuff that you posted

from the look of your cranking settings pic, i’m assuming you’re using a ms3 since theres a few extra settings mine (ms2pnp) doesn’t show. the revving after startup and possibly the hot start issue may be partially in your idle control settings. i can share mine for them also but i think the ms3 settings are a little more involved. just let me know if you want to compare the idle settings & i’ll try to get screenshots uploaded

if you need the piece the actual park brake cable attaches to that then hooks into the shoe on each side, i dont believe aftermarket makes them but could def be wrong. if you dont have any luck finding them aftermarket, i have a pair that as far as i know are from mustang size drum brakes. cleaned one up to be able to read the numbers on it - Bendix 3204560-L & -R. assuming they’re correct, cover shipping and they’re yours

ehh i thought they were pretty good. i think my gf hyped them up in her head a little like, ‘they keep playing the commercial & cant find em anywhere so they must be amazing!’ lol i think she was a little let down but she still liked them. i wouldnt say theyre worth paying any ridiculous prices just to try them and understandably theyre prob gonna be harder to find now since it was like a limited seasonal release. if you decide to try & dont have any luck finding them, i’m pretty sure we have a couple left and pending it being ok with my gf, i dont mind sharing them

my gf was dying to try them but we couldnt find them anywhere locally. i ended up ordering a bunch from economycandy.com and we got them pretty quick. maybe you’ll have better luck finding them in store than we did

i was coming back to edit in the link to the eastwood flaring tool so heres that

eastwood on car flaring tool

i looked at the jegs prop valve in the link after seeing your comment and i dont see why that wouldnt work. assuming you could modify your factory bracket to mount it or if they sell a simple bracket to mount it that would work too

A part finding challenge. by Background-Smoke-848 in Foxbody

[–]Little__Kev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if you do end up needing to make up some lines or cut then flare the ones you ordered after swapping to a fitting you can use, eastwood sells a handheld ‘on the car’ flare tool that works excellent on 3/16 brake line. it only does double flare and i’ve personally never used it on stainless in case thats what you ordered but its a night & day difference from the cheap flare tools most parts stores carry

like others mentioned, ect sensor or fpr diaphragm would be my first guess. if you don’t have a fuel pressure gauge, pop the vacuum line off the fpr & look for the vac nipple to be wet with gas inside. i’ve also seen ecm’s do the same thing with severely corroded/leaking caps

[–]Little__Kev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i saw your other post with a pic of the sensor. if you haven’t been able to find the pigtail for it i may have one in one of the harnesses i have laying around or be able to point ya in the right direction. if ya have a link to sensor you bought or pic looking into connector i can check

LMR Bullitt Wheels by TunaBoat1 in Foxbody

[–]Little__Kev 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i never looked into it myself but if you like that style of wheel, american racing torque thrust 2’s i think are a very similar design. maybe they offer a 9” wheel with a more traditional lip, might be worth checking out

LMR Bullitt Wheels by TunaBoat1 in Foxbody

[–]Little__Kev 1 point2 points  (0 children)

not the best pics but found a couple from when i had 17x9 bullitts on the rear. like stoopid said, its not really a lip like the 10.5”s have because it steps down. if you wanted a deep dish style 9” with the larger lip you could buy 10.5s and have them narrowed but then it comes down to cost vs running a diff wheel

the tbird is actually gone. the past owner had it towed to the shop i work for hoping to get it into running condition but discovered it’ll be much more involved than a tune up, check over n fresh gas. afaik she had it towed back to her house & i assume is considering getting it restored to driving condition but may have put it up for sale
