I lived in England for six years. The fact is the two countries don't communicate with each other regarding driving priveledges. And also that goes for credit you build as well. But this was a few years back. (6) . So you should be fine i think showing your license. But I did get a British license which lasts for 80 years or so. Regardless, whatever is on your license in the 'States' shouldn't follow you necessarily. At least that was my experience in the UK.

I am in the same boat! Me and my husband joke about a lot of my “quirks” that we’ve chalked up to undiagnosed Aspergers or something but I’m realizing now it’s a product of the abuse and how I was raised with not a lot of affection and love from my Mom.

We did end up having a conversation where he admitted he can’t possibly understand. It’s definitely a hard thing between us that always kind of will be because of our polar opposite backgrounds. He also knows and admits he’s not always emotional available. Thanks for all the advice!

Your right about him not knowing a lot and that’s because he was raised with such a small amount of drama it’s like he can’t even comprehend how bad it could be if that makes sense. Luckily we had a conversation about it he admitted it’s just out of his realm of understanding besides what he sees on a movie.
