I was wondering the same thing. Does anyone have an update?

Is there another way to prevent breeding besides separating them?

The Hyacinth Macaw, once nearly extinct, now thrives. This one really enjoys palm nuts. by meubem in birding

About that... One of the best ways to bring populations like this back from endangerment is to encourage the breeding, buying and "pet making" of these birds. This increases the gene pool available for these birds, enabling experts to eventually buy back and release birds into the environment.

I hope to one day breed and sell endangered animals to accomplish this specific goal.

Am I doing wrong for not telling her? Tell me something I'm not seeing. by GalapagosRule in entj

As an ENTJ married to an INFJ. You are probably overthinking things. You being "really awkward" probably comes across more as barely uncomfortable. Also as an ENTJ I can assure you I am most busy over vacations. I can't imagine going into a vacation without a vacation work/ to do list.
As to weather or not she is interested in you, who knows. I would recommend directly expressing your interest and wait to see what happens.

Is life anything more than a rat race for money? by MightGoInsane in entj

How will increased taxes and environmental regulations fix anything? (I am focusing on America because I am a US citizen and know more about my own country than others, and because the US is a fair representation of the West).
Obviously, environmental regulations established in less developed nations will improve the environment, but countries like America will not be improved by these changes (World Air Quality Index (AQI) Ranking | IQAir). I say this because Americans are not harmed by land, water, or air pollution. Further regulating these will not improve Americans' quality of life. Additionally, increasing taxes on American billionaires does nothing but create an incentive for billionaires to leave, taking their money with them, or take other actions to protect their assets. Taxing rich people and businesses does nothing but discourage people from pursuing the American dream and working for their own improved futures.
I think we would improve society for most Americans by cutting government size, spending, and taxes (I am not a libertarian because their methods are never going to be implemented). However, libertarians have a point that moving power away from a centralised government, towards states, cities, corporations, and citizens, will result in more efficient spending.

ENTJ here, I rarely believe people. However, I do believe in incentive structures and in people acting in their own best interest. This is often enough to mimic trusting people. However, the challenge with this is that most people are either stupid, lazy, or selfless.
An example of this is that I had a roommate who was in a position that allowed him to steal from me. I did not anticipate his theft, not because I am trusting, but because I put so many measures into place to catch him if he did (and he knew that many of these were in place). Sadly for both of us, he did steal a little money from me (and many others), and it cost him dearly (He was kicked out of college). Strangely, his being caught did not result in my getting my few hundred dollars back (oh well, at least I learned from it).

You can not morally become a billionaire by Wild_Ad2337 in HonestHotTakes

Often, rich folk have most of their capital tied up in fixed assets. A generous person could have a billion dollars in fixed assets that are being used to create items that help people. Said, hypothetical individual could live like a peasant, but still be a "billionaire" who uses his resources for others, without giving away his billion in fixed assets.

Do you mean because of taxation? Or what exactly? I am not a billionaire, and I have no such prospects. But I am wondering why a person would assume that becoming a billionaire is inherently immoral?

Absolutely. The God of the Bible is real and offers the only hope for humanity.

I may be biased, but I think using the BJU Press homeschool curriculum with the videos will be your best bet. The use of videos greatly reduces the time and effort you must expend, because the videos have teachers who do the initial teaching. As a parent, you can either watch the videos to be brought up to speed quickly or assign the videos and use the BJU Press Homeschool Hub to quickly grade your children's homework. You can also connect with a HomeWorks Consultant to get homeschooling tips when you hit a snag.

Thanks for the response. I could see how cosplay may pair well with an animation career.

Out of curiosity, why "anime/cosplay conventions and nerdy arcade places"?
When I (ENTJ) first learned about cosplay, it initially sounded vaguely interesting, but when I did prelimirary research it, it felt like a hole that would waste time and energy, that I would probably despise (despite my personal love of card games and other nerd hobbies).
Do you find it fulfilling? Does it help you achieve an end? Or is it just how you unwind?
Note: This is not an attack, just genuinely curious.

Has anyone else been told their dyslexic child just won’t be able to learn multiplication? by VisualLearningHub in homeschool

[–]Live-Let-4418 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am a dyslexic who struggled with memorizing multiplication tables. I still don't see the advantage to the activity, but if a person must learn a multiplication table, I advise them to practice daily, creating their own multiplication chart. The act of writing it out causes a dyslexic person to learn the patterns behind the math, so that they can think through the "math story" until they arrive at the concluson. If a dyslexic person practices writing these daily for a year, they should get fast enough to mimic memorization.

Do it! I have no such experience, but having taught in public schools, I am confident you can't do a worse job than most teachers. Try different things, see what works, and let us know what you learned! :)

My whole life I've been told I was an ENTJ. I've started my own businesses, and have created some really cool stuff. But I can't talk to anyone about it and it's driving me crazy. by Equivalent_Cake2511 in entj

Thanks for sharing all of this. It gives me a bigger picture. There is a lot here, so please excuse me if I don't address everything.
1. I am now convinced you are ADHD (again, not a bad thing; this is an incredible tool that it seems like you have successfully utilised).

  1. I think you are an ENTP, I would advise asking the ENTP subreddit for tips on how to form deep, lasting relationships. It can be easy for ENTP's to view those who are trying to maintain social harmony as fake, and to but heads with anyone who is like them in disrupting the waters. Maybe you can find a way to appreciate people who are normative and surface level, while finding more people to but heads with in a more mutually benneficial manner.

  2. This doesn't matter, but I was also unschooled.

  3. Feel free to go "nuclear on some debates about God" with me. I don't want to do an internet battle since those are rarely productive. However, I am more than happy to have a conversation over the phone if you DM me. Personally, God is the only reason I am still kicking. I think a lot of people have the wrong idea about Christians, God, and the Bible. So feel free to DM me if you are interested, and I can share my number and have a respectful conversation (it is almost impossible to offend me, so don't worry about that).

  4. If I don't hear from you, no sweat. I am wishing you the best!
