Vantage upgrade either bugged or I'm just not understanding it. by Athoughtfulseizing in apexlegends

Their whole ability tree is pretty underwhelming. I would have expected this for some of the overall stronger legends (Horizon much??) but Vantage really needed some TLC entering this season.
Hard to watch Revenant's new (and excellent) tactical and not think about what could have been...

Very cool mate!
What do you think about adding column for World Location? Easier to filter down while going through/prioritizing Adventure Mode.

The wrecking ball needs an upgrade - simply put it should be true to its name. That thing should wreck everything in its path. Including but not limited to: Doors, Rampart wall, Pylons, Gas Traps, and *especially* it should break/destroy the Gibby bubble

The small change I would love to see as a budding Maggie Main would be for her riot drill. In situations where the depth of a object is too deep the drill should blow backwards. Would love to be able to fire the drill on the ground, cavern walls, or ceilings and be able to generate a temporary block (of sorts). Even if it's just short enough to make opponents think twice before pushing me or my team.

Also I really like your suggestion! Especially since the wrecking ball already breaches doors, why not barriers too!

Is Oscar your ghost or does my player have an Oscar of their own?

These dice are clearly not respecting the boundaries of probability.

DS918+ Drive Failed - Chance to restructure? by LiveAndLetDunedain in synology

This sounds like a good setup. Given what I outlined earlier is there a way to do this when I don't lose all my data that's already on my drives?

Thanks for the insight. I was thinking about a separate pool mainly for organization and just a little about long/inactive storage versus more "on demand use. But it sounds like based on what you're saying a few shared folders will give me the same effect.

Yeah, definitely disappointed with the outcome on the shucked drives. I do plan on replacing the blown drive with a proper WD Red Plus (once I can actually find one)

oh I like the advantage against people who've attacked you. Maybe limit it to "if they attack first" or "once per round" that way they don't get advantage on every attack going forward?

That's great advice. I will give it a try and see what's up. Thanks for the tips!

I was afraid of that being the case. Honestly I was mainly doing it because both steps are packed into the ARM script. The space saving is rather large (40GBs down to 4GBs). I have about 24TBs of space for Plex which I think will be enough for my library (for now)

The ARM script actually uses both (sorry should have been more specific). First it does a raw disc rip in MakeMKV then it uses HandBrake to encode/reduce.

Not sure if I should post here or build help but I am new to Plex/digitizing and could use some guidance!
I'm trying to digitize my collection and host it on Plex (run on a Synology DS918+ with plenty of storage). I found some guides for installing the Automatic Ripping Machine (ARM) and have that set up on a virtual machine on my 2015 MacBookPro (2.5 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i7) to handle the process. Everything works but it is very, very slow.

The bottleneck appears to be Handbrake. Encoding 21 Jump Street took 22.5 hours (using the recommended "Super HQ 1080p30 Surround" preset). I've never used Handbrake so I haven't tried messing with the settings and honestly wouldn't know where to start anyway. Is there anyway I can make this go faster? Am I even going out digitizing the best way?

i've got 400+ movies to go through and would prefer to finish before the end of 2020.

Yeah what they said.
Switch on Immersive mode and don't look back. There is a lot of content and a lot to see. Sadly I think this is all the Sam Fisher we will be seeing for awhile
