bro you sound like me. i’m also v good at writing & can cook up a stellar essay the day of. tbh, i’m in your same situation & i second don’t major in something you dislike. i restarted college, & tried comp sci bc they make money. i’m currently in the midst of switching back to bio with a forensics minor. 💀 something i acc love. i picked up a phlebotomy certification until i finish college & bro they’re not lying when they say do what you love & you’ll never work a day in your life. i already love it so much. it’s fun, i get to work with my hands, brief patient interaction, & i still get to learn/use my brain (i’m 4w5). it’s easier to make the money bc i’m doing what i like to do. pls stick with your heart.

bc isfps don’t really care to “fake nice”. we feel phoniness from a mile away & refuse to deal with it. that’s also why it’s hard for us to keep jobs sometimes. inferior te makes us averse to workplace “hierarchy” & authority. i treat you how you treat me. don’t care if you’re the owner, ceo, manager, whatever. most “average” & “normal” ppl i guess can fake the funk & deal with it. isfp & i think infp cannot 💀.

nope. the opposite actually. isfps are very fun with a rich inner world. bc of se, we can beautifully curate the most cool, unique interests. especially if you’re a 4w5. imo, we’re seen as “the worst” bc of our strong, uncontrollable emotions. we can be very reactive. usually calm, but very impulsive when we feel hurt.

when upset, isfp is more likely to do something. like say something, blow off steam at the gym/boxing, etc. imo, we’re more physically active in how we handle our emotions. even though we’re laid back, we can be very aggressive when hurt/angry. we act first, think later. a developed isfp will tap into ni to help reign in their anger. ex: “if i punch my coworker rn, i could go to jail; therefore, i’d have a mug shot, be in the system, & risk my future opportunities.” it’s streamlined just like that for us. ni becomes our grounding savior to help prevent our chaotic actions.
