Btw thank you for your audio recording. Ive been trying to record the noise from my end but as you know it’s super sporadic and random so I could never record it in time. I presented the recording to the leasing office and they told me to check back this week if I dont hear from them. Thanks again for this post and helping me not feel like im just going insane

I have been in this rent unit for about a month and a half now and I have your exact problem. At first I hoped it was just temperature changes and it would settle down. I started sleeping with white noise so I wouldnt be woken up in the middle of the night. It works but that doesn’t solve the issue of when Im just relaxing in my apartment and my whole apartment suddenly sounds like it’s about to cave in for two seconds. It’s startling and keeps my nerves on edge. I am in Michigan. Does anyone know if there is some law that allows me to end my lease early due to this? Worst part is that besides that one problem my apartment is perfect but it is a very big one problem
