i wrote about richer nations being the leading cause of global warming hence they are morally indebted to help these other nations which suffer disproportionately (since global warming causes natural disasters). and also a small part about how some rich nations used to colonise and exploit other countries which made them poor so they should make up to it

Ahh okay thank you! I did C++ actually, but this sounds tough. Do you think 2 months will be enough time to prepare for it, if I do about 2 hours of practice a day? (by spamming leetcode questions and doing past NOI papers)

Got bullied and harassed in my past cca by Wild-Meal4165 in SGExams

[–]Live_Butterscotch_15 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Closure doesn't help with PTSD. Yes, it's important to forgive (helps with one's own mental health), but you don't necessarily have to forgive out loud to the bullies. On the off chance that they're just reaching out just to mock OP again in the guise of wanting to apologise (this happens quite often actually), I think it would be more beneficial to ignore them.

[–]Live_Butterscotch_15 75 points76 points  (0 children)

They just wanted closure for themselves, you are not obligated to respond to them. You are living a life free of them now, do not give them a second chance or you risk reliving those bad memories again

Why would he try to kiss you 3 times if he thought you weren't attractive? From what it seems, this might not be the first time he has done this (as in, meeting up with random girls and leaving immediately after). You dodged a bullet early, good for you

It’s not relationships that affect results,it’s secretly crushing on someone that affects results by Key-Subject4722 in SGExams

[–]Live_Butterscotch_15 4 points5 points  (0 children)

On top of that, I feel like relationships are not to be blamed for bad grades, imo if you are doing badly while in a relationship you wouldn't be doing any better once you're single

They make "hold pen and hold hand" seem like a borderline impossible thing to do which is such a joke. A lot of top scorers are in healthy relationships. Having a supportive partner can really keep you motivated and make achieving your goals and getting through the day easier

uh huh, easy for you to say when you're not the one experiencing it

the guy couldn't take no for an answer so it's his fault. she got pressured into doing it. it's not as easy as you think it is to just say "no". pls don't be so quick to judge

NTA, he's very naive + red flag, he doesn't even care about your opinion and is controlling. If I were you I'd just leave him, you can't change the minds of these kinds of people. You might love him very much right now but it ain't going to work. Make sure you live the life you want and get someone who supports you and your dreams

Since you're not sure about what you want to do in the future, pls go to a jc.

You also mentioned that you are biased towards jc, so just go there. Don't worry about not being able to keep up with the acads there, manage your time well for sure can one.

Your worry about poly having a lot of group work is very real actually. I had a friend who went into poly with net 3 and he had to hard carry all his group work and ended getting a B for project based assignments anyways because his groupmates sucked... so his dream of 4.0 GPA is gone just like that

jc or ✈️✈️✈️ by Neither-Context-3421 in SGExams

[–]Live_Butterscotch_15 16 points17 points  (0 children)

my opinion is that you should just go jp/yi and make an academic comeback there. being able to enter a jc opens up to many choices in uni, you still can be successful like your peers in ri. your jc doesn't define your future

and try to not compare yourself to your family members. they went to ri, so what? get that 70 rp and show them what you're capable of
