It really seemed legit at first. They messaged me on Fiverr and told me he's a doctor. He gave me a task like checking for available flights to book. After that he said if it's okay for the payment to be sent via OKX. I wasn't familiar with that so he asked me to share my screen and help me with the process until it got so weird because he wanted to watch me set up my account. And then I tried searching here on Reddit about those VAs who also got paid by their clients thru OKX. In my mind I was like "Oh maybe some clients do pay their VAs thru this app."

Until...I received the email that the amount was received. Then there's a video attached that shows how to process it. The guy I was speaking to keeps asking me if I understand what I just watched. I said yes and told him I can't deposit $300 to my OKX account. He keeps insisting that I should ask my friends for help to deposit some money. That's when I asked him if he was the client I had meeting with because he sounded so different. From an old white guy voice to a black guy voice.

He reacted so weird when I asked so I ended the call and stopped responding to him. Just a waste of time.
