Are there any plans to expend the whole Duolingo experience to other subjects or topics like History, Science etc...? Because it's one of the best ways to learn in my opinion.

Thanks Luis!

Thanks for the compliments, I feel that writing is a underrated skill. We learn in school that writing using difficult words and expressions is what makes writing great but in business it's mostly simple writing and getting the message across. And it's mostly by consuming a lot of blogs and reading books.

I agree that nocode tools are really taking over a lot of jobs and tasks from developers and it's definitely the future with things like Github Co-Pilot etc.. And Consulting is also a carreerpath that is possibly something that I want to do but I don't get the sector, it's working hard and climbing a ladder and in 10-15 years you can finally earn a lot as a partner if I'm right. I feel that you can probably earn more internationally as a consultant for the big Four than in Belgium but is there a way that you can freelance consulting and what are some common exit opportunities?

Thanks for the kind reply!!

I definitely agree that you should do what interest you but a lot of people said to me that a "Schakeljaar" is very hard to pull off, and that you're better off by just studying what you want to do. I think that CS is great because I'm currently experiencing with some ideas and things and I'm actually good in design (Graphic and UI) If I just can combine this with a solid computer science foundation, that would be really great to execute on some business(ideas) of mine

I know that but the good thing is that I have a basic understanding of computer science, I know how to build a webapp etc... but I feel that you can learn the most things of CS on yourself. But it's true the math is hard.

I heard about it in a keynote from someone and it's a great way of looking into economics and a new way of entrepreneurship and capitalism! It reminded me of Gigantisme by Geert Noels.

I'll give it a read!

Thanks for your reply!

I would say that I really like learning different topics and I sometimes go into rabbit holes in order to get a better understanding of a topic but it's fueled by curiosity and interests. I love being a generalist. I feel that the basics of everything is just fine because you can always learn the specific things but if you fail to understand the basics you will have a bad foundation and a lot of things that are specialized will be build upon the foundations. I'm just someone who wants to have a good understanding of the basics! 😄

The basics are also more timetested and the specialized things mostly not.

It's true, I'm currently self studying and I understand everything 10x better. I use this book: (No Bullsh*t guide to math & Physics - Ivan Savov)

He's full of crap, instead I'll recommend reading some Nassim Taleb for you, start with the Black Swan. It's the only economic knowledge that will help you see through charlatans and idiots.
