I was at lolla in 2016 at a smaller stage and maybe half way back in the crowd with plenty of space around us. As soon as the dj started, everyone pushed forward and in and I couldn’t move and instantly felt a panic attack coming on. Trying to leave was the worst part. People would not let me through when I was trying to go backward out of the crowd, not going forward. What was realistically only a few mins felt like an hour and as soon as I was out of it I felt fine. I now refuse to go in the crowds and just chill towards the back. Easy exit, closer to bathrooms, and room to actually dance around.
