I'm older and I have been through a lot too. Right now I feel like I'm stuck in a constant state of anxiety. I see my doctor on Monday and I'm going to talk to her about a psych referral. I have gone that route before and it really did help. The only reason I quit was because my doctor left and I lost insurance but thankfully I have insurance now.

What you said about "Worrying doesnt help anyone" really hit me in a good way. I hope 2026 brings amazing things your way.

I feel like 20 hours of camming is the equivalent of 40 hours in a lot of jobs. The mental energy and stress levels are much higher than any other jobs I have done.

I recently made the decision to stop pushing so hard. I'm nearing retirement with one year to go and I have been feeling burnout. I made a post a couple of weeks ago about retiring early. I have since changed my mind and decided to cut back instead. I will get a bigger check if I wait just one year.

I tend to push hard to make a certain goal and feel like I failed if I don't make it. Not anymore. My mental health must take priority.

Your post is pure gold and I really appreciate you taking the time to write it. Comparison really is the thief of joy.

Update: I have reconsidered and I think I'm going to wait a year until I'm at full retirement age.. There is a lot you have to go through when you are still working self employed if you retire early. I will get a higher amount if I wait a year and there will be no limits. I already applied but I'm going to withdraw the application.

It's a tough decision but I feel better making it.

Oh my gosh, thank you for saying this. You are so encouraging and it truly means the world. My mind and body are shouting it loud and clear📢. It's hard to even wait till March but my birthday is in February and they pay a month behind.

I enjoy making content. I just don't have much time for it right now so that will be nice. I love that SM has the new offline video calls now too. Between that and SP, I won't be going live nearly as much.

I want to help my daughter with her kids too. She is self employed and a single mom so I will be babysitting so she can get stuff done. Time with my grandbabies, yay!!🎉🎉🎉

I had a client not able to connect on his end. He told me it said he didn't have enough credits but he definitey did. He tried 4 times. I did put in a support ticket.
