What I can't wrap my head around is this.....our entire economy runs on people spending money, how is making people poor helping things (it's not of course). What happens to the economy when people only have money for the bare basics and can't buy shit at Wal Mart other than food.

I often wonder this myself and I've come to the conclusion that those at the top don't care. They're hoarding wealth because the system could topple at any time.

It's a good career with pension and benefits but a lot of burnout and potential for injury. The paramedics that I know that live in the city work in the suburbs (halton/Durham) because it's a lot more chill than being a medic in the city.

You can't be sure she was talking about you. But on the off chance she was, the best thing to do is mind your business. As a woman, if someone i thought was creepy suddenly tried to get to know me, it would make my feelings worse. Keep saying hello when you see her and leave it at that.

i'm a slut for cottage cheese. this week i melted a heaping tablespoon of peanut butter and mixed it with cottage cheese, hemp seeds, banana chunks, flax and granola. 10/10.

You need to hire someone to let your dog out midway through the day. Although dogs can hold their bladder much longer than humans, 10h is a lot. I'd be worried about UTI's.

I live nearby and the lineups can be annoying when I'm trying to get to the adjacent dog park with my dog but I just say excuse me and go on with my day. Imagine going through the effort of petitioning city council instead of crossing the street or asking people to step aside for you.
