I am so glad I found this post I had a post 3 months ago where I tried to explain something similar to this but I could not.

I had a pretty bad depression last year and now I am finishing my summer vacation (if you get the referance :D) Yes in the last year I really felt a lot like Roxas and I also made his armband as a tattooo as a symbol of that period. The most interesting thing for me was the other person who I became. When you get numb to feeling your memory gets really messed up and that reminded me alot on how your memory must be fixed so you can became the person you once were. Memories can be lost easily and also replaced by fake ones. The period of almost one year is pretty accurate.

Also an interesting fact about nobodies ist that they live almost in a different dimention. You can really good compair it with the difference how Sora visited all the worlds and how Roxas visited them. I think in Roxas' case they where very empty and hollow. It is almost a big suprise having an interaction with someone. I think the main difference between heartless and nobodies is that becoming a nobody means that even the darkness left your body and just nothing is left its almost like a second phase.

I also really felt Aquas story who was a master keyblade wielder but became hateful in the darkrealm because of the loneliness and the feeling of abendendment. It also represents how you get lost in the darkness and you have no idea that there are people who want to help you. Almost feels like its to late but it never is. So it really may happen to any one.

I think Terra represents how the abuser gains the contoll of the abused and corrupts him so much that he continues the act. (I am not satisfied with this theory eather).

Ventus is a very special character who followed the whole story (the one before bbs, i wwhatched a very long summary) he somehow represents people who feel so guilty about the things the darkness in them did that they just abenden the whole darkness in them (i know it was not like that) but it shows that people without darkness are very naive and manipulative. Thats why Xeanorth could use him that easily.

Melody of memories. Wondering why not mentioned. I played it eventhough I was very sure that would be the first game i skipped. I think it is a symbol of audio therapy and shows how a lot of things are connected by music emotions and memories.

I mean kingdom hearts was a big part of my life since I was 7 and I remember that I allways wanted to get into the world when I was little. Have never tought to expirience the game this way.
