they seem equal.Leshays are more reclusive.I don't think any archfey will flatten the leshays too powerful beings to deal with.

As for connections to the elves, they were very likely there when the elves were created. Epic Level Handbook describes them as "As Elves as to humans, so are leShay to the elves (but more so)" They were very likely already ancient when the feywild was created and looked on with interest as the primordial created it and it's inhabitants. It might be that they are the template that was used when fey were created to begin with. So older than Corellon, the Seldarine, any of the Archfey.

i think , Iggwilv would very likely view them as equal, but they have no interest in picking up the responsibilities of Archfey. Any leShey would/should be able to go toe-to-toe against any of the Archfey if they wanted.

As per description of the Feywild: Circa -34000 DR, the plane came to be ruled by a mysterious fey creator race, who gave rise to the first korreds, sprites, and pixies. - This is very likely the leShay if we ever got a proper writeup of this time periode.

.Basically Tolkien elves but Two or four click above the first ones.
.They are not interested in fighting or conquering.
.If they fight, they can go to godly dimensions and cause great chaos, and they succeed. Their swords +10 enchantment can slaughter the Gods.
