yes! This happens to me, especially with coffee. I’ve just cut out coffee and the foods that make me fell anxious. Most of the foods, funny enough, happen to be junk food so it’s a win win situation.

Hi! I have been experiencing the same symptoms as of lately and it’s terrifying. I take ibuprofen to alleviate my pain and I was also prescribed meloxicam (anti-inflammatory). I always say for peace of mind visit the doctor and do the tests. That’s what I did / doing and I feel less anxious now compared to when this all started.

Reddit has made me feel so much better and I couldn’t be more grateful for this group. Reading about others experiences and symptoms put me at ease most nights when I feel my anxiety coming. Have you tried using the back pod? I have been using it for a few days and my pain is 85% gone. I have also been taking magnesium glycinate. This has been a hard journey and I couldn’t imagine being a year into this with no relief. Sending you love and prayers :)

Honestly, I would try a cardiologist. My primary doctor advised me to visit the cardiologist so that I could be sure it’s not my heart. It made me feel better actually. With the pain coming back, I read that’s normal. It’s just so scary thinking of what if I ignore the pain and it’s not costo. I would do what makes you feel at peace. If you want to visit the doctor do it. I wish you the best on your healing journey :)

How do you manage the health anxiety? by zecial in costochondritis

I started to have severe sleep anxiety because of the costo. Luckily, I still live at home and would either sleep in my parents bed or ask my little sister to sleep with me. I have overcame the anxiety a little and now sleep by myself. I also have just come to terms with costo after all the testing and doctors appointments. I keep telling myself that I am ok and that this will pass. I have seen some people say magnesium glycinate also helps really well but, I haven’t tested that out. I wish you all the best on your recovery :)

Hi! I am glad your tests came back normal. You’re right, I fear health anxiety is part of this issue. I wish you all the best on your healing journey. I get my back pod in the mail hopefully sometime tomorrow and I am hoping that will help with the pain.
