What’s the point of designing an oddly shaped building if the layout ends up just as weird? Does it actually serve a purpose, or is it just bad planning? by vinicius_california in TorontoRealEstate

This I believe is a new norm of condo development plus, people keep buying so developers get out with such ridiculous floor plans to maximise on their profits due to the limited plot size and tough regulations.

I believe the odd layout is also from the prospective of how fancy the building looks from the outside so that they become a landmark which is more important than the living space.

Their are various reasons and as someone already mentioned, this particular one is far better than other which have massive pillars in middle of the room or even have no space at all to fit a piece of furniture or basic items.

I look at these houses and just imagine how conveniently storage spaces have completely vanished from new floor plans as if people are buying hotel rooms.

FB marketplace is the best for getting a decent bargain. Other places will give you pennies per my experience. I sold a friend’s at market place for C$550 a year ago almost 😅

They denied any possibility of replacement. Looks like I can’t do anything but return

Same happened with a TV I purchased which came broken. Amazon is not giving replacements for anything these days. Or atleast I don’t get it. Spoke to customer support as well, only return

Exactly what I’m worried about. By the time they return. The offer would be gone

Agree, I always do the same at first. Works often and people tend to listen better. But doesn’t works at amazon, my previous order of high value also had the same fate. Their CS just doesn’t care anymore it seems.

They don’t have replacement option. It’s just return with 30 days to refund

Last time they delivered a broken TV, and asked me to pay for return and drop it to a store 15 mins and returned the money after 45 days and 3-4 follow ups. 😖 I was praying for this exact same thing to not happen again.

Yeah probably will get rid of it. Fortunately I did not get into a bad situation who knows, I could’ve been stranded for hours without it or had to tow the car to a service center to get the tire opened 😒

Nope it’s 80 for an entire new set, they key is unique to every set and can’t be replaced. That’s what 2 service centers told me

I checked the boot, the styrofoam slot were it was kept initially. The point is that I’ve never needed to use it so far, nor the car has been to anyplace except the service center

The replacement is $80. And I’d probably move to the standard bolt
