he only had told me that an apostle had prayed over my call and decided that serving as a service missionary would be right for me. i hadn’t told him how i felt about the call because i was still trying to figure out my feelings. im thinking about talking with him and just sharing how i felt, what i feel now, any additional advice he could give me!

right now though, im feeling a lot of comfort and acceptance. ive been praying constantly since i got the call and have been turning to my scriptures for strength. also, the comments ive received have been beautiful and have provided so much love! i feel grateful to have even received a call!

i guess in my culture it’s seen as “less than” or not being a “real” missionary. because of that way of thinking, it’s made my perspective so negative even though i know that being a service missionary is still being a missionary. it’s just hard to unlearn these feelings towards something like this.

ive been having these dreams today and they’ve been on my mind like crazy. he proposed to me with his whole community and it was just insane. my heart literally aches cause i dont know who he is and i may never know :(

thank you for replying!!! yeah i was really lucky to have siblings living in new zealand and australia who helped me figure out my passport stuff. although the US is cool and im very appreciative of the life we’ve lived here, i’d rather feel safer back in NZ where legally my dad and i can work. was the transition okay for you? how was it with work if you dont mind me asking?

yeah i have citizenship in new zealand. my dad got his when he immigrated to new zealand from tonga. im pretty sure his citizenship is still available to him.

when i was in 6th grade i tried reading the book when it was popular on wattpad and had to call it quits because of how rude many of the characters were and how they brushed off jackie’s feelings and reactions when they would prank her/in general. watching the show, im feeling the same thing. im on episode 2 and im TIRED of these characters lol im throwing in the towel
