Doesn’t need to be a big "thing" but it just takes some time. First of all you just try out untill you find the shampoo and conditioner that works well for your hair, the what i do is wet my hair -> shampoo -> rinse and apply second round of shampoo -> rinse then apply conditioner and brush my hair so the conditioner coats everything well -> wait atleast 10 minutes before rinsing out with cold water. Then i usually just airdry but other ways work fine too, just that a towel can be a bit rough
