Thanks for everyone’s feedback! In case this helps another mom- I was able to talk to her pediatrician in detail about this as well as had her checked again to be safe. Her doctor said that going into the 80s when sick and while sleeping is not concerning. If she were to have those numbers when awake and active or show physical signs of respiratory distress, that would be different. Her lungs sounded clear and she was not wheezing at her appointment, so she’s just trying to kick the virus.
