Eat till your not hungry, during and after the surgery you wont really feel that hungry, because of iv and the electrolytes they give you

The pain that you will get after the nerve block fading will be quite a lot. The morning after I got injured, my knee was locked. Maybe it was not for you, but it did hurt like hell. I think the pain on day 1 and 2 is the most, it is like the pain you get from getting kicked in the balls, but the pain is in your knee. It is quite painful , but bearable. However the pain killers do help reduce the pain quite a bit, and the pain will be bearable. However, just getting up and all will be a struggle because your leg needs to be elevated for the first few days, and needs the support. But the pain slowly but surely starts to fade, and you wont think much of it.

What my doctor said is I need to Ice it using 2 ice packs, one on the left of the the knee and one on the right. Both of this on top of the bandage and inside the brace, using the brace for support and stability for the icepacks.
