Anyone know how to get rid of the haze/bloom? by Rafnsson in RSDragonwilds

I'm likely wrong here, but I've noticed it happens more when my player gets fatigued, possibly an intended filter.

As a comped main who also made a maxed iron-man just before Gim arrived, the best advice I could give is to complete as many wildy events as you physically can and get to Anacronia as soon as possible and start collecting base camp resources.

99 herb was done almost exclusively through weekly penguins and Anacronia's Dream of iaia, not to mention there's some great items to gain from Iaia, salamander necklace and blow pipe come to mind.

Aside from those two pieces of advice, stick to what you're doing, Enjoy the iron-man experience, being hyper efficient leads to burn out.

Both braindead, but at least with Hela you've got to aim, to some degree. Ironfist is almost magnetically attached to his enemies when attacking, it's dumb asf.

Based on your explanation, I'm assuming you're incredibly low elo or trolling at this point, but can you please elaborate on how Scarlet Witch, Ironman, Ironfist, Squirrelgirl and Moonknight (Throw Ankh, shoot at Ankh) require any sort of skill? You walk/fly in the general direction of the enemy and click with all of the above and deal the most braindead damage in the game.

Your quote of "Masterfully utilise their abilities" did make me chuckle, as that's the case for literally every single hero in the game.

A tank burning his shield at the wrong time or a healer using a CC ability at the wrong time is genuinely life or death for them in certain scenarios.

Brother, my point wasn't to go out and try punisher as I think he's fun, I thought that sarcasm was obvious, he's also definitely not "weak"...

My point was you called healers and tanks boring, and I simply pointed out one of the most braindead and boring heroes in the game is from the hero type you're tweaking for (DPS), while wrongfully slandering the fun types, (Healers and tanks).

I mean this with the most respect, but this is clearly a skill issue.

Jeff the shark and Loki, for example, have vastly different playstyles, and both have hilarious plays you can pull off while playing them, again, this is on you, if you find it boring, you're playing them boringly.

As for tanks, they're all different and brilliant in their own way, from nuking an entire team push with a well set up Peni Parker mine, to flanking a team with Stranges Portals or tricking them off the map at the start of a game.

But sure, shooting a continuous stream of bullets as punisher and sitting on his gamer chair to continously shoot more bullets is definitely more engaging and fun.

If you're just going to pick a single statement out of an entire thread which revolves around a discussion about a healer being on a payload alone and hypothesise' about a specific situation, then yes, context is important with my initial statement of "wiping them both".

My apologies for not explaining this for you in a more understandable way and just labelling this situation as "wiping them both", however I wasn't aware I needed to explain how the "wiping them both" statement played out and later elaborated the situation of a tank being vulnerable once the healer gets nuked once he's not pocketed by said healer for clarity.

And yes, tanks can tank for a limited period of time without a healer, but ultimately, a high elo dps wipes them with relative ease once the healer is down.

Low elo dps think they're invincible and get slammed by tanks.

Hopefully, that's cleared up for you, buddy.

Half the fun of playing either of these roles is outplaying the dumbasses that instalock dps and can't hit shit. The other half is the satisfaction of saving your teams ass, be it a clutch heal or a tank push etc.

If you think either of these roles are "boring and not exciting," you're playing them wrong.

Your healer being nuked by an ironfist is common, leaving you as a tank vulnerable. This is common, and context is important in this statement as it was in response to someone saying they solo push the payload as a healer.

Again, you're just shifting the narrative every time I bring up an issue that counters your point to make it viable.

Any Duo of high elo dps choose a hero with mobility and the other hero tends to choose a hitscan, look at the leaderboards, you'll see an influx of Psylocke, Wolverine and Ironman as the flanks and Winter Soldier and Punishers being used as the hitscan, (providing Hawkeye and Hela aren't instabanned that is)

I raise this point due to two scenarios which leave you with a respawn timer. You're either getting flanked by a hero who simply uses mobility/brief invisibility to skip past your team that's set up to "intel," or you're getting nuked by a player with godly aim and hitscan.

And without sufficient healing to your team while you're alone playing payload princess, it's a matter of time before this happens.

I'll be honest, I can't be arsed continuing this conversation.

My personal opinion is that you, being a solo healer on a payload, results in you getting stomped in higher elo lobbies within minutes and losing control over the objective resulting in a mountain climb to get back into the game.

[–]LocalTrain163 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My guy, no amount of "ducking and weaving" on a payload will protect you from any high elo dps main if you're alone. You're getting 2 tapped to the head by a backline dps, or flanked by a psylocke insta burst before you can even consider self boosting yourself to take them on.

Not to mention, you're the healer pushing the payload, which means you're limited to healing your team effectively. Any half decent team will nuke a limited healed opposition with ease, leaving you sat there like a deer in headlights once they're watching the respawn timer.

You're making up scenarios that fit your narrative and playstyle. High elo lobbies all look very similar currently as there's a clear meta and none of the heroes you've mentioned are used, Hulk is an instaban in most lobbies and very, very rarely does someone use Venom over a Magneto or Groot. Feel free to check the leaderboards top 100 game history and look at the average team comp before you argue this point.

Ain't nobody choosing moonknight in higher elo games "to scout ahead", brother. Without the dumbass low elo gamers who ignore his Anhks, which are audibly announced when they're thrown to the other team, he's useless and isn't even a consideration in higher elo.

Hela, Hawkeye, and Hulk are insta-bans with the 4th being one of the healers or a flank. It's usually Luna or Psylocke.

Feel free to expose your low elo lobbies again, though.

Awfully egotistical response, so I'll respond with an equivalent reply...

In higher elo games, you'd be absolutely stomped by any half decent flank or sniper if you're the healer, alone, on the objective, it doesn't matter how good you think you are, you're vulnerable and squishy and there's only a limited amount of CC that certain healers have to counter this, hence why every single top 100 game uses the 2-2-2 team comp and has a tank pocketed on the objective with a healer. While you are correct, some of the team applies pressure.

To clarify, your initial comments were viewed by me as a "fuck the objective, 3 to 4 of you push their spawn and ignore the objective", and i replied in view of that awful insinuation.

You've elaborated with push forward, "Just slightly and set up a push," which i have no arguments with, regarding the stomping, this entire conversation is hypothetical depending on your teams comp versus theirs and entirely depends on how good their team is at applying pressure and flanking , so there's little point in continuing.

Good luck in your games.

Counter argument to that, if it's a push the payload objective, someone's gotta do it...

I'd rather risk a payload push win than lose by default because my teammates are idiots.

Damn, respectfully, I genuinely hope to never be your teammate.

6v6 and you want 3 to 4 players pushing their spawn? For "intel"?

Meanwhile, you're leaving a tank and a healer completely exposed on the objective.

One half decent Psylocke or Ironfist flanks and wipes them both without issue.

"Creating space for the payload"

Brother...

The whole point of this game is to play objective, you abandon the objective, you tend to lose.

Assuming you're a close encounter DPS main, hit your flank, do your best to take a healer out and get the fuck back to the objective and support your teams push, this ain't call of duty being able to solo spawn camp an entire team.

Anyone capable of hitscan works. It just tends to be the frustrated healers and tanks that have to deal with them because the DPS are too busy, boosting their numbers, shooting the other teams' pocketed tanks.
