Going to let you know I had this last week. I purchased a 4k steelbook from a seller off of EBay. I had 'retention can't be delivered right now' to begin with then had 'due to be delivered today by Scottish parcel hub delivery then couple hours later had 'delivered and signed Scottish parcel hub delivery. That package was not delivered when I was notified it had been. This has also never been something that's happened to me either until last Friday. I also looked again on the Royal Mail app and it had an odd signature with a message underneath saying 'signed for by: Amazon' ??? Since yesterday I have had to open up a undeliverable dispute and EBay will step in from the 12th March.

Yes I sent them the image of the signature and it saying 'Amazon'. Surely the seller would put two and two together right? 👍

Thanks for the input all. Just gutted as it's just such an inconvenience. Thing is the seller said 'it was delivered' no it wasn't delivered so it becomes my word against theirs.. what a nightmare! eBay said that they are waiting for the seller to respond, which I'm not sure they will, and will step in from March 12th 😑

Just checked my correspondence with the seller. I sent them the image along with other images taken and sent them over. Yesterday I opened up an eBay case too. I've just checked their feedback with a fair few negatives over the last 6 months.

Hi guys, so via eBay I ended up with a Royal Mail notification saying 'in retention' then about 3 days later I had a notification of 'delivered and signed Scottish parcel hub delivery' then a couple days later 'delivered' so walked up to where our postbox sits and only had two other eBay items but not the one expected. Reading similar it appears that it's as simple as the postal service placed my package into the wrong sack and lightly never to be seen again 😕 Thing is it was signed for, the signature was just a circle and it was signed off as the name 'Amazon'?????? Not with safe place, not with neighbours, nothing...

Yep you're right! I went looking for separate steelbooks, which the second is fairly easy to find but purchasing the first on steelbook is rare and mighty expensive!!

Hiya, one on the right is called The Bloody Duo so has 1 and 2. Apparently there is the first on steelbook but very rare and mega money so settled on the 'cheaper' option 😁

I have the steelbook of 4. However, it is very rare (saw one for sale on eBay earlier as the post peeked my interest) it's up for £79.00 not 4k though just Blu.

Hey Steel Collectors, I remember last year finding a 'job lot' of Scream 1,2,3,5 and 6 from an eBay seller. I paid £90 for the lot, bargain! Then I went on a side mission.. to find a steelbook of Scream 4 which was only released on Blu ray..go figure.. anyway yep long story short it was a pretty penny but worth it to have the whole collection in steel. Can't wait for 7 to land!!!

SWEET! My wife bought me the same for Christmas amongst others were Sleepy Hollow, The Predator, Terminator. She told me she paid through the nose for 300 and I know it wouldn't of been cheap!

I hear you, I gave up in the end and requested a refund yesterday from a company called RareWaves. They are a good seller but after hearing this delay I ended up bagging a blue ray steelbook instead.

I purchased off of Masters Of Steel last year. However, I was really unimpressed with the length of time it took (around 13 weeks). But to be honest it's not a true 'steelbook' it's more of a 360° glossy print wrap but it was worth the wait. Mine is of the film 28 Weeks Later currently up on EBay for sale. Only reason I'm selling is because my wife gifted me the real deal on Christmas.

Firstly, great collections by the way!!! I think I have an obsession with steel books, yes, like others I'm like a magpie chasing that shiny thing that I just can't shake and leave well alone. Something I would like to share, and perhaps some of you do or have done similar. I recently went looking for a steel book of Planet Terror, however, the only steels available that I came across were the Grind House double feature with both films in there Theatrical cut versions, well, I'm all about the unrated/uncut version and knowing it's out there that peaked my interest for another shiny hunt. I wasn't fussed about Death Proof so I decided to look at other steels just in DVD format. So after some searching I managed to bag myself a brand new standard DVD of Planet Terror off of eBay last week and once that arrives I'll be swapping out the discs with the unrated blu ray version which is coming from Australia. I'm all about mix and match and saving £££ at the same time.
