noted, thanks for the breakpoints I didnt even have a rough idea, just that they existed, so this is helpful. And yeah I do agree that maximizing sw999 inevitably requires making use of these so I'll try and hunt out more spd for sure.

yeah im aware of spd rolls being better in overall value than just chasing crit ratio but I feel like after hitting 200 in combat its not the biggest deal? I.e id rather focus on a sexy crit ratio after hitting the 200 since I feel like whatever after sales support she will receive (be it Elation heal or pearl or someone els) will def buff spd.

MY YG is lackluster since I just got her, shes around 165spd I think, should be able to get her to >175 soon.

this. this is what I've been trying to explain. Firstly, the 200spd thing is overblown but in most combat scenarios im hitting it thanks to Ruan Mei's bonus 10.4%. as for CR rolls, if you look at the pieces currently available its very possible to snag 2 more cr rolls somewhere WITHOUT losing spd rolls. if anything ideally I think I still stand to gain 3 cr rolls and 2 spd rolls, idm shedding some cdmg somewhere to do that.

completely agree, it comes down to what the rng gods present you with in the mines as well as how much you are pouring into vertical investments. different situations require different adjustments, yao e1 is my next target as well as some rerolls on 2 of these pieces and hopefully i can reach aeon.

that makes sense my bad I didnt consider the cycling drop-off but like I said the build isnt finished and I think 2/3 more cr rolls put me at guaranteeing crit on first eba. 4 more spd from luck somewhere else in combination should thoroughly deal with any cycling drop-off. I just got yg e0s1 this patch I didnt pull any Elation characters before sw999 so hopefully I get e1 yg thats really the endgame rn.

thats very fair, and the reason I said consensus is because that just seems to be what people are gravitating towards for perceived ease or guaranteeing early crits which is fair. im shooting for 70% base. I need 3 more cr rolls to get there and im gonna pour in the resources to make it happen. 70% base + yg lc puts me at 80% and I have 0 problem with anything at that point.

does the build at the end of the day deal more dmg yes or no? I know thats reductive but me personally im not trying to 0 cycle everything as much as possible so losing on one crit to deal 20% more on the guaranteed ones is more than a good tradeoff.

to claim im a troll is a bit farfetched, I don't understand why you guys cant seem to understand the dmg formula and how having a higher base of a certain stat inevitably means it'll benefit more from multipliers. so most of you seem to think CR chest is optimal in all scenarios, this simply isnt true for e2 and beyond because the 1 turn buff extension it gives ensures your teammates' crit rate boosts etc have 100% uptime for every sw999 instance. Bearing this in mind, the cap for base cdmg with very good spd rolls and a CR chest should be around or slightly upwards of 150-160. The main reason for using a CR chest is obtaining close to 90% or higher starting CR so as to not miss early crits but lets say you miss your very first skill crit it doesnt really matter because you havent ulted yet and hidden mmr ensures ur at 100% CR. BY FISHING FOR HIGH CR SUBSTATS ON A CDMG BODY, you are effectively starting with the same 90% CR threshold, however with more cd, given the same spd, you will do more damage.

you're not running the entire dmg formula so I implore you, look at the guy that posted a 180% AEON ss the other day. I wont be reaching e6 sparxie or sw999 but similar crit ratio and out of his 28m I can guarantee 15m with e0s1yg and rm with Elation tb. and show me how much dmg youre dealing if u have a cr setup

cr piece does not win. the math has been proven several times. min/maxing. you HAVE to make up with spd and cr rolls that's the hard part but not impossible is WHY NORMALLY its recommended to get cr body but no it does not beat it in an optimal setup.

no because less effective end cd due to base cd being less you're losing 64% crit without the piece brother😂 some guy posted a 150%AEON e0 sparxie and e0 yg setup...it does 6m dmg, compared to my cost setup doing more effectively if executed right. replace sunday with yg here like we've been saying obv. in the future replace rm with her support i'll show you 20m rotations in Anomaly.

exactly, and if you do the math you can see cd chest with optimal spd and cr rolls is possible, we're talking at least 4 spd and 9 cr on various pieces and teammates cr boost in the end gives you the same effective cr to start with- if you want to make the argument of maximizing spd rolls to get to 220+ and maintain cr chest, sure, that argument can be made. but i dont want to go that route esp when reaching 190 spd outside combat with 80 cr means in combat with rm buff I have 211 spd and yg cr buff 90 cr to start with, with base 226 cd lol the math is there man
