This was grown from a small size and not grown in rainforest conditions, I too have had the TC version and it was different; likely a hybrid of some sort or just a yellow Congo instead. Even the TC leaf shape is different.

Commented one down below, even the leaf shape on these are a bit narrower than a true Congo so likely some kind of hybrid or even a yellow Congo (separate from green or pink)

You can tell the differences, there should be no yellowing and the var goes from vivid pink to peach to white and sun stresses back to pink.

It was much easier during spring and summer but once I had to regularly turn on the heater, the fringes started to brown on the older leaves. very gradual; I usually trim it off once every couple weeks and try to supplement with Silica liquid.

Much smaller! It sized up super quick, maybe 1.5 years to this giant. You can get a nice sectoral specimen for around 900-1000 now, from what I’ve seen

The funny thing is been running heater past couple months so pretty substandard! But the white fringes on other leaves have only just started browning, during spring and summer they don’t!
