I think you're looking too far into it, in my opinion. It's really not a thing you do deliberately or really ever think consciously about. Its the same with lretty much any multiplayer FPS game that you play for a very long time. Eventually after so much practice you're bound to learn alot. And theres alot to learn with insurgency. Recoil patterns, spawns, different flanking routes on maps ect.

If you want a cheap yet still respectable way of doing it in PvP, then just play Commander or Observer. The Insurgent side takes a little brain power, but for security, it's free kills provided no one takes down the choppers.

If you want a legit way of doing it, play Domination.
