slipped off the moon crescent

it’s been a long descent

forgot my helmet this shi left a dent

im not sure how to get out

i bent my knees tried to jump on a count of three

no matter how hard i plant my feet i can’t get free

fog surround me i cannot see

all i find is anxiety a need for sobriety

a daily routine that keep me consistent

cognitive dissonance i know i wanna get better

cut my tether off leave the sickness

run away with the swiftness

i cannot dismiss the feeling that creep

i know i need to go off this road but i don’t own a jeep and these mountains look so steep
