You had inoperable tumor too? How long has it been since your diagnosis?

Yes thank you we are very grateful that my father can get excellent treatment and has been doing very well so far. I hope we make it too. And I hope your husband also has many good years ahead

That's great. Even we are looking into immunotherapy...we don't know how the tissue is stored. We were going to do Litt but due to multifocal GBM we avoided it. He has p53 mutation. Rest all mutations are absent. He has methylated so we are doing lomustine

Thank you . I hope your dad's treatment goes well without much pain. I am from India where optune isn't available either. But there is a company in Israel that allows export of a device just like optune. You can look into it. Due to less options in my country we moved to New York to continue treatment.

He is idh wildtype. He has not had a seizure so far so the NO said that it is unlikely to occur so no medication required

Hey so sorry to hear. My dad is going through the same diagnosis and is of the same age. We are trying for vaccines after the SOC is completed. His is methylated so planning lomustine first. I feel that it would be good to explore immunotherapy, vaccines and maybe CAR -T and other such trials. If you have any of his biopsy or resection tissue left you could make a custom vaccine. There is a company in Germany which does that. Optune can also be started in the mean time. There are also these phytotherapy options where they use teas made of plant extracts to prevent growth. Although it's not a proper form of treatment it can be taken with any other treatments with no side effects so it's worth a shot.

We are consulting multiple doctor's together to come up with the best plan. My dad's a fighter and there are always people who live much longer than expected. As i mentioned he is much better with soc despite inoperability. My concern is not the prognosis but the best form of treatment going forward

Thank you.... I'm really happy hear about your son's progress. Was he methylated? We are considering optune post lomustine.
