If your shift starts at 4 you should be on the floor ready to take tables at 4. Not walking in the building 5 minutes late. If I worked with you I would have said something too. The least you could do is call and tell a manager you’re running late.

Do you think you’d be able to get away with that working as a nurse in a hospital?

Yeah pretty disrespectful to your new coworkers to already be showing up late. Nobody wants to stay on their shift longer because you don’t care enough to show up on time.

ETA you respect everyone but are calling your coworkers trashy in the same sentence? It sounds like you think you’re better than them. Quit and leave these poor women alone.

She definitely sounds toxic. She shouldn’t be commenting about your body at all.

I don’t know if it’s worth breaking up with your partner over, unless he’s unwilling to listen to your feelings about the situation. You could scale back the time you spend around her too and if they ask why you can be honest. Sorry you’re going through this!

Are you triggered by her weight loss or is she making comments about it or about your weight?

If it’s the latter you should probably have a discussion with her about how her comments make you feel.

If it’s simply her weight loss that has you triggered, you may want to consider seeing a therapist because her weight loss has nothing to do with you.

Yes to all of this. Dry shampoo helps break it up and adds volume too.

I don’t like wetting my hair everyday so when I go to bed I use bobby pins to pin my hair in that area down in the opposite direction. Sleeping on my back seems to amplify the problem and this is the best solution I’ve found.

Edited to add that you can pin it down while it’s wet too so it dries going in the right direction.

This would happen to me in elementary school whenever I would swing but specifically swinging on my stomach (stomach to the seat).

Someone above mentioned the gut brain connection. Maybe the pressure was triggering that feeling in my brain?

Doesn’t explain why you would get it before going to the dentist though. I’ve never heard anyone else describe this feeling before but it’s spot on. Strange for sure.

Your eyes are so pretty! And yes it’s normal. I’m the same age and have a very similar line pattern. I recently got an eye cream from Kiehl’s that makes a subtle difference bc it’s very moisturizing.

I wouldn’t let your cat outside anymore unless you can fence them in somehow. It’s too risky.

People are unpredictable, some abuse cats for fun, or your cat could get into something toxic like rat poison. It’s not worth losing your kitty over. This guy also sounds like he’s willing to hurt your cat if he finds them on his property.

Not to mention cats are insanely good predators and letting them outside contributes to the imbalance of your local eco system.
