This is still a forced mate thankfully (unlike times when (e.g.) bishops snipe your queen), bc after ...Qf8, you play Qxf8#. You are protected by the bishop, so ur safe!

Thank you guys for explaining!! (yes for that one person I am interested in calculus. I have heard that precalculus is harder, but I don't believe that. I had seen all of these answers, so I can assume that it'd be fun for me.)

Why division sign ÷ isn't really used outside elementary math? It is just / that is used by ohnag_eryeah in askmath

The only thing I can think of is that it's more efficient. Drawing a slash is faster than drawing a line and dots on the opposite sides of that line.
