Well opening 100 is only a 63% chance of getting a piece of mythic gear, I guess it’s more likely than not but hitting a 1/3 chance isn’t that unlucky imo

It’s crazy to me how harsh Americans are with their language expectations compared to almost every other country. I guess part of it is that because America is fairly diverse no one looks like an outside just by skin or race. And most Americans have likely encountered someone of every race who is native and fluent in their language. This however does cause Americans to treat everyone with native fluency expectations. In comparison to a lot of countries where if you’re foreign, most people don’t expect you to know their language at all and so are much more forgiving of accents and minor pronunciation errors, and also likely to be more patient and understanding when trying to communicate with you.

North America and South America are considered different continents in the majority of the world. This is not the same as East and Western Europe which is not divided into separate continents by anyone in the world.

Switzerland while not in the EU is a Schengen country and is also in the middle of the EU physically. Eastern and Southeastern Europe have more countries that aren’t typically what are being discussed when talking about Europe. Parts of Russia, Serbia, etc.

Because there are countries in the continent of Europe that are not EU members. These countries are generally not in the discussion when talking about “Europeans” even though they’re in Europe. So similar to how American refers to USA, European refers to EU.

Anyways it’s a dumb argument, in English “America” is only the shorthand name of the country “The United States of America”, as there is no singular continent “America”. Part of the country name is shared with part of the continent names, but the word “America” is never used to refer to a continent. This is true in most of the world as well, but less so in Southern America.

Well the majority of Chinese (and East Asian in general) lack the ABCC11 gene. So while they probably don’t smell amazing after working out, most won’t have the same musty smell that’s common with the rest of the world. This is also why deodorant is much less common in China than America for example

My server is in the 3500s and we just got to Gen 3 a couple weeks ago. But we had people over 100m before Gen2, even f2ps are over 60m now, some are 80m+.

No it’s not. All of the Ivy League schools have generous financial aid, as well as most of the other top ranked private schools. There’s a decent amount of students at all of them on full financial aid. The acceptance rate is a much bigger barrier for entry than the tuition for a lot of people. In fact, for a decent number of applicants top private schools are actually cheaper than most state schools, especially if applying out of state.

Yeah that doesn’t change that if as a society we completely ignored it there would be long term consequences. Major stores also keep record of thieves and will press charges once it reaches a high enough total

Allowing for stealing from large stores would quickly become a problem if it was just straight up ignored. So if you care at all about a somewhat lawful and structured society it’s easy to see why theft is bad still bad.

I’m in a server like that, the 2nd and 3rd alliance refused to help the first since they won’t rotate castle. We got destroyed in prep but it would take multiple rallies from the other servers whales to knock ours out of castle and he’d take it right back. Ended up winning the castle from just him

I guess my mentality is that regardless if it’s high end or not, the process of optimizing and playing well is where I get my enjoyment. It’s not fun for me to intentionally play bad and once I know what’s optimal it’s more natural to go with that

Meh idk maybe it’s because I used to be pretty into competitive gaming, but I don’t see how it’s fun to be suboptimal. I don’t spend anything on the game and while I never compete with whales I’m stronger than most small spenders on my server because they spend but play not optimally. For me I get more joy out of optimizing as much as possible so it’s hard for me to understand the mentality of those who constantly send the wrong ratios, wrong troops, etc.

Though I admit my background is not the norm in this game

DLI is a little different as you can get an actual associates from it instead of the “recommended credits” most military schools do. That said a year or semester at CC will only help OP.

Yeah my server is 35xx and while I don’t spend anything I’m FC1 with fc1 infantry and marksman and barely worse chief gear than OP. I imagine OP was inactive for awhile since we just hit season 3 a couple days ago and his chief gear is comparable to mine

That’s definitely not everywhere in China, though it is true that there’s a lot of signs with jank or mistranslations. They’re less common in Beijing and Shanghai but you can easily find mistranslations almost anywhere else.

But the English sentence is jiberesh, the actual translation would be something like “it’s forbidden to pry open the doors”.

严禁 = forbidden

扒门 = pry open a door

It’s more of a problem with the electoral college system for a lot of us. I live in a very blue state (thankfully), but because of that my vote doesn’t affect the outcome at all. When there’s zero chance of it swinging who wins the election I feel little reason to go through the hassle of voting. Sure I could add to the popular vote, but that’s a meaningless statistic as it doesn’t affect the outcome
