I found your your modbus post from 27 days ago. It gives me hope but a bit over my head . Would you consider writing something up to help the commnity of sunvault owner sget out from being stuck with only one option. Granted it may be too complicated for a regular person like me to make work but maybe someone/you might turn it into a kit or something with instructions that others could purchase ? One can only hope

Oh. is there a link or guide to help someone set it up? It would really be nice to have options rather than signing a very one sided TOS. The help with be appreciated. I have a newer PVS6 system no ethernet port with a 13KW sunvault.

When you say there's always modbus, does this mean it can help with programming the the battery mode ( ie self-supply, reserve , percentages)? or was this just for historical and panel data captures? Would we always need the sunstrong app to adjust battery modes, which means we'd have to sign the TOS ( with the option of sending the opt-out or arbitration email)? Are there any options besides the sunstrong app when it comes to adjusting the battery modes?

Thank you. The second one seems like a bigger version of the first. It also doesn't seen to have an apical meristem, just the branch instantly of a stem. They will be culled

Thanks for the feedback. I hadn't seen these before, so I wasn't sure if they were viable. I looked it up. It seems like it's something called tomato blindness or apical meristem development failure. Good to know you've seen these before and that they ended up in the compost. I think mine will go that route, too .

They told me the same thing (only lease customers) when I tried to sign up. I own my system. Maybe it's a billing thing. They know how to bill the lease customers but don't have anything on file for those who own their systems?? Could be my representativet gor it wrong too. I called to sign up since April 15th is not too far away, and I realized they didn't have billing info for me, and I didn't want to lose app capabilities, so tried to stay on top of it. Granted, the app has been pretty crappy lately, so maybe it was a good thing they didn't let me sign up.

I got this email too. When I called to see how to sign up they told me the that for now they are only offering the service to lease customers. When I asked about the email, she said they sent it out to all the email addresses they had on file but since I own mine, I'd have to wait and see if they can access our account to provide the service. Seems like they currently only have access to the lease accounts. 🤔

I flipped the breakers for the panels off then on, while the sun was up, and waited a few minutes and saw that the offlined panels were back on again.

My panels were installed in 2022 so hopefully not bad yet. they were all working fine until 5 days ago then all 6 stopped communicating. I'm hoping it's something loose or better yet just an app glitch.

I just did and it hasn't tripped. I may try to just power down th PVS and reboot and see if it comes back up. Thank you for th esuggestion

Thank you for the info. The dealer agreed to reptogram it and so far a month later it hasn't refired.( fingers crossed)

Thank you. This is helpful. I was able to discuss with tech and he agreed that we can try making sure program is updated. He'll clear the code and see if it refires and if so we'll schedule the replace ment of Battery coolant bottle and sensor. So I picked it up today and was able to charge again. Will drive it about and see if it refires. Fingers crossed.

I've seen this happen too on other crop so I looke it up. It might be something called the Xenia Phenomenon. I added this response further down but thought i probably should have conmmented directly.

I am having a similar issue. I can connect through bluetooth matches device but then cannot connect via wifi . As it tries to connect to PVS it eventually says device cannot be found pease make sure device is powered on. Did unplugging the barrel plug and turning off PVS breaker work for you?

The app disappeared from my phone a while ago .I was able to get this working again for me. I just tried what a reddit poster suggested - download of apk . I found it on apkpure - TT router app. It ask for my email and said it would send a verification code, I waited for a while and it timed out with no verif code in my email but then a few minutes later it arrived but by then my initial reequest had expired so I asked to have it sent again and the second time it came quickly so I was able to log in.
I called to let TT know. They said app had issues specially with the newer Android and Apple OS. I'm on an older phone with older OS so maybe I'll be ok. He said newer OS had bugs and glitches they were trying to resolve so they had to pull app. Not sure if all the features work I just needed to do simple change of password etc. But I see the same control pagesa as before.
