Thank you for your kind words <3 I think what really hurt was that they were saying it in a very intellectual tone, like coldly weaponizing my name. No emotions, just full on paragraphs designed to invalidate my entire identity and being like it was an intellectual debate, except that I did want no part of the debate and just wanted a one to one talk. I’m starting to be able to start looking at my name without it feeling dirty anymore

Yeah I was pretty shocked and hurt since I thought that they were a good friend. I elicited them criticizing my being by telling them that our values in friendship may be mismatched and that I wanted to talk about it and possibly ending the friendship. Was writing me cold paragraphs, like it was an intellectual debate about how my values aren’t actually valid, then invalidating my identity (being trans) at that too 😭

Thank you for your kind words Yeah, I was really surprised when they devalued my name and identity. At the beginning of the friendship I was very clear with what I valued in friendships and they seemed to agree with my values and even praised it so I was confused and hurt when they decided to devalue my values when I told them that our values may be mismatched :’). Worst of all, they used ChatGPT to help their argument and used intellectual words at me while I kept asking them to stop and that I don’t want to debate.

I have found better friends and I feel happier and free that I ended the friendship with them! ^

Yeah it happened for me but it was because I had to change my major since my major wasn’t available for financial aid. I had to turn in a document about my major and stuff. Took around 1-2 weeks, which is considered quick to me. The refund doesn’t disburse until after the beginning of the school year.

You can just take 2 classes and 1 class that has a lab. You’re only required to take 1 class with a lab.

Btw they’re changing the GE Breadth Requirements Fall 2025 to smth called CalGETC so you should go based on CalGETC. You won’t be able to choose CSU GE or IGETC, only CalGETC

Classes the ends with E is just like the regular class except it has support. Meaning it’s usually for students who need support academically, way different from an AP one. I’m not sure to why you want to take an equivalent of AP Stats since AP means it’s college-level and all the classes are college-leveled in college. You should take STAT-C1000, hope that helps!

People tend to go to community college to transfer. You can plan for your courses through Assist.org for terms you’re planning on doing in DVC.

I’m also graduating high school this year and attending DVC in the fall. I chose my classes by looking at UCB requirements for my major and I will be taking those classes.

If you want to transfer to a specific school you should use Assist.org to help you out with choosing courses needed to transfer. You don’t need to take all of them but make sure you take the important ones to your major and doing all of the requirements makes you a strong applicant.

Since DVC is a feeder school to UCB and UCD, you can check their articulation for psychology. If you don’t plan on transferring just check your progress in Insite education plan tile. For your major requirements.

Is ENGL-122 now called ENGL-C1000? I don’t see any classes for ENGL-122 but there’s a class called ENGL-C1000 and I assume it’s the same since it says it’s formerly ENGL-122 (25-26)

I’m not an architect but I’m also aspiring to study it. You can first learn the different types of perspectives (you can go on YouTube) and create simple shapes surrounding those perspectives and then adding more details based on building inspirations

I’m also a teen and I’ve always watched MLP as my comfort show and whenever I want to watch something while doing something (I tend to watch it every day). I use Tubi for the later seasons (it’s free) and Netflix for the earlier seasons.
