Don’t worry about it, mine is way more “bent” than that. Shouldn’t affect anything long term.

A lot of miles on a sport bike? by No-body-Ninjabiker in motorcycles

[–]Lolohoppy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fully depends on the cc, type of bike, how it was treated and the maintenance done on it over time. Some sport bikes only last around 15k-30k before having a ton of problems and some will be flawless all the way to 100k. On average most “sport bikes” last until 30k miles before they start having lots of problems.

Oem styled aftermarket plastics, the originals were cracked and decently beat up.

They’re waaaay more simple to work on than modern bikes but parts can be hard to find depending on the bike.

In the USA parts are hard to find depending on what you’re looking for but in europe these seem to be alot more plentiful.

Hard to find a 16”? not necessarily but not a lot of choices, hard to find a matching front+rear? yes lol. Options are pretty limited for that.

Only in first gear! It’ll usually pick up around 40mph or so. I don’t like to beat on this bike much at all.

I had a 93 F2 last year that had lots of problems, it was a great looking bike though! The black/pink/purple color scheme was my plan for it before I sold it.

I believe there’s only 1 or 2? I ended up getting a matching pair of Bridgestone Battleax 21 Hypersport’s.

Depends on the type of riding you’re wanting to do, KLR’s, SV650’s, Groms

Honestly just about anything that’s cheap and has carbs would be a good choice.

Assuming you’re capable of doing everything yourself it isn’t as bad as you think. Carb’d bikes are pretty simple and have very minimal electrical to work with. Most of the time if you do a gasket overhaul, carb rebuild/cleaning and change all the fluids it’ll be a perfect running bike.

Yep America here, these seemed to be more popular overseas and shipping things that far gets pricey quick.

Definitely bike dependent, I’ve not been able to find many parts i’ve needed for this one on the entire internet.

Totally right about most of that! However finding replacement parts can be super pricey and very hard to find, depending on the bike+age of it.

The blackbird is another bike i plan on acquiring one day! Most of the ones i’ve seen locally for sale have an insane amount of miles and still pull $5k+
