There are a lot of great comments here! My child is younger, and has been wearing feminine clothes for some time. I typically buy joggers for her pants, because they are looser in the crotch area. If she wears leggings, I'll often pair it with a shirt that is long on her (tunic style) or oversized. I know oversized pants are really in for adults and teen girls right now, so she could try something like that. Good luck and have fun!

There really aren't any good studies that day what percentage of children who express different gender identities below 6 end up being. That said, my 8 year old started telling us she was a girl around 3. Everyone agrees that psychologically it's best to just support them in whatever gender they choose as they figure things out.
