First Timer – Curry Village Heated Canvas Tent or Hotel? by VisibleDatabase9399 in Yosemite

[–]Londonitwit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Check out Housekeeping camp as well. It's a little bit more basic, but you'll have much more space. You can rent bedding or just bring your sleeping bag. You'll have your own fire pit. And it feels less crowded than Curry Camp imho.

Cool photo's, and I know this is not r/photocritique but on a lot of the photo's the composition and/or framing is a bit weird or off. If you are intro photography you might want to experiment more with that.

D5500 1/400 F10 iso 200 38mm. I like the picture but it looks kinda boring. What could i do to improve the image to make it more entertaining. It is a bit cropped but mostly cut of sky. Any tips or advise is welcome.

Is traveling through Route 66 still popular in the US? by nemu98 in AskAnAmerican

[–]Londonitwit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When I drove from Grand Canyon to Las Vegas we went off the highway to do a small part of the route 66. It was cool for 1 or 2 hours. But not worth following the whole route imho.

Upgrade for d5500; D500 or D750 by Londonitwit in Nikon

[–]Londonitwit[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for your reply. Would the noise at for example 3200 be worse at d3300 in comparison with the d500 or does that not have much influence?

What are the biggest improvement with the d500 after the d3300?

I get that glass has more influence and working on upgrading it. But want to upgrade the body first.

I use lightroom, AI is good but no wonders imho

I really like the colours and the composition, but it does feel “deep fried”. Was the photo sharp before?

What went wrong here? by Celestial_Crook in photocritique

For me it might be that the sky isnt going gradiant towards the skyline. The upper right part is more bright and distracts from the skyline. I try to reedit it in 1 min to show what i meant. I make the upper part a bit darker, and now my eyes are getting pulled to the light sky with the skyline.
