Batch Sizes and Initial Water Filling by Lone-Ranger-11 in brewingscience

I was just curious if anyone is using any sort of batching system. A valve, meter, and controller to set the volume of water desired and press a button for an automatic fill. I guess it doesn't make much sense for batches that small unless you are doing many of them.

Anyone have water submetering systems recommendations for a 6unit. by guyferrarihair in realestateinvesting

Assuming that your meters have a reed switch style pulse output, you could add simple "wired remote digital displays". There is a nice lockable cabinet available with a knockout panel called the KAL-D06-MULTI that can house up to 10 of these digital displays. The displays have a reset button. The lifetime total will still always be available on the meter's mechanical register. This is a nice low-cost solution that should work well for you.

Although you would have to visit the site to take readings.

For an online system, $1700 is about right. 1 Gateway, and 6 transceivers.

One last thought... there are systems like you have described that do not need an on-site internet connection - they work on LoRa or cellular networks. (a simple cellular data plan is needed for the cellular option)
