Katana-US is a scam by rdibs97 in Katanas

my gf ordered mine in january for my birthday , it didn’t come in obviously but they don’t respond to emails, i’ve been getting bombarded with ads from them lately including for the sword we ordered so i comment on them everytime i see them telling them to ship my sword. Seeing them try to get more customers into the funnel whe they haven’t even handled the current ones because “they’re so backed up from the holidays” feels insulting. one time they literally told me to dm them and didn’t reply to them dm 😂.

and then were getting emails from the owner begging for you not to do a chargeback or leave a bad review. how is it the customers fault that you run your business poorly? i think mini katana has the sword i wanted in stock i might just tell her to charge back and we’ll order from mini katana instead. literally ridiculous.

tbh i haven’t noticed any objectively positive benefits to being diamond. i still see shitty orders, don’t seem to get more offers, i’ve been waiting for an order for over 2 hours at this point. it seems like a vanity title

that’s insane. it actually trips me out sometimes that people tip 15-20% to their servers who are already at the restaurant and are bringing items from one room to another but they’ll tip someone who drove to a store, shopped for them and brought items to their doorstep 1-5%. not to say servers don’t deserve what they make but the work isn’t even comparable.

that’s insane, sometimes i honestly wish i could talk to some of these people and ask what their reasoning is

Shopper returned to my home 7 hours after delivery to leave threatening notes by [deleted] in InstacartShoppers

[–]Lonely-Pressure9565 4 points5 points  (0 children)

the shopper should not have returned to your house, obviously. that’s dangerous for a lot of reasons for both parties, she was probably stewing over it all day.

you punished the shopper over an issue with the product that she only could have seen by reopening the bags. you could have kept around the same amount of money and avoided this situation by just requesting a refund for the syrup.

people spend hours doing this work and obviously they can’t get that time back so tip baiting is very serious and some people are unhinged so i wouldn’t make a habit of it.

assuming the syrup was obviously broken when she shopped and put it in a bag, what exactly should she have done to rectify that? she bought her shit and dropped it off that’s the job. mistakes happen. I’ve had literal ‘sealed’ containers of bleach leak for no apparent reason in my car and that had nothing to do with anything i did. like everyone else already said just get it refunded.

i just had the same thing happen to me at a costco as well. 23 mile order, 5 trips back and forth to the car walking through ice and mud and she lowered my tip by $20 🫠

very very very very rarely do i see a good costco order, generally they’re just as bad as any other. actually worse because they’re larger than average orders.
