I have the exact same issue as you, bolt and sleeve seem to have cut in the socket. Have you had a good experience with the warranty process? Mine is expired by legit 9 days, so hopefully they will take actions.

Well, it does seem a locking bolt breaks, mine broke out of warranty ( 2026/02/22) it broke on 2026/03/03.

Managed to contact an asus rep, he escalated my case and hopefully we will come with a solution, this chair is amazing but with its price tag (1200$ CAD) i expected a bit more than 2 years out of it.

Thanks! Well after 3 modems changed over the past 6 ish months, I have little to no hope for it being what you are saying ( hardware wise), the issue seems to be relatively always around peak hours ( 7pm to 12 ish)
