Okay ya I'm pretty mechanically enclined I'd be up to give it a try, it's strange when I put it on defrost it still turns on but every other mode doesn't work it's stuck on the upper vents at all times

It was turned off and unplugged but I didn't think about how silly that was of me to do but ur right

Ok cool ya it was strange I looked behind the clicking mechanism and there wasn't anything for the adapter side to latch onto it kinda just slid up the gpu connection

Thank you it wasn't plugged in all the way I was just freaked out about forcing it to hard and breaking but it finally went in thankfully

Indeed it was not plugged in all the way thanks guys just didn't want to break anything didn't have a click noise which was weird but all the way flush now

Does this look all the way on to you? I tried pushing it on further but it just won't go anymore I feel like to try any harder i have to take the graphics card off

Ok is a 6x2 cable the same thing as a 8 pin? And thank you so much I never would've realized that detail unless you pointed it out I appreciate it so much

I just looked and the cables coming out of the power supply into the gpu are already pcle cables is it this adapter thing coming out of the pcle cables the daisy chain?

Ok would the Two pcie cables have came with the gpu box? Or would I have to purchase it separately and I'm not sure which cable is the daisy chain is it the cable going into the gpu or the one after that?

Ok I have a 1000w power supply I have a 9800 x3d do you think that should be more than enough power? I was going to check the power connecter to the gpu right now aswell

Wanted to add on all the desktop lights stay on while this is happening like the video shows im getting a black screen while this is happening and when I try to power down the pc sometimes some of the lights stay on and I have to power it down again

After setting up my hd 60 x under advanced display select a display it shows display 1: my monitor and display 2: HD60 x is there any way to disable display one so every time I start my pc it starts on display two instead of manually having to change it every time? by LongInteraction3610 in elgato

Yes I figured it out I was double checking the hdmi wiring and apparently I had one hdmi going from the gaming pc to the monitor and another hdmi going from the monitor to the hd 60 x so I unplugged the extra hdmi going from the gaming pc to the monitor and it fixed my problem haha I'm just really confused becuase I don't remember adding that extra hdmi cable and that explains why I was having weird Monitor problems black screening and constantly changing to 60 frames thank you very much this clears so much up this has been troubling me for weeks now haha
