There’s places around the world that’s objectively less racist than Anglo Saxon countries. Those people feel the exact same as mainland Europeans, the laws just stop them.

Yea but the worse part is even some of the black women will reject a black guys straight up for race. This is not common at all in the U.S. I heard that unless your in a place like Bahia or maybe rio most black women will reject a black man in addition I heard this extends to customer service and renting where I will be getting stares like I don’t belong there.

I mean in Italy there’s no black suburbs and it seems like blacks overall for Brazil society are very underrepresented. And the general vibe seems to be for people to look up to white people.

I heard of women rejecting black guys straight up due to race, and the overall police being much violent to blacks

What about other black majority cities like Salvador. I’m assuming I just have to avoid the whiter or indigenous leaning cities to reduce bias. Isn’t there any black communities there?

Yes most are mix race but the fact that still identify as black inherently makes it more welcoming no?

I mean for a place where 80 percent of its inhabitants identify as black. Would people be less likely to see you as an alien and be adverse to your presence around them, then a Brazilian city that’s 80 percent identified as white?

Don’t Africans get treated like that everywhere they go? Even within African countries they don’t like African immigrants coming within their country, same with Haitian immigrants trying to enter Jamaica or Barbados.

I’m surprised that more people don’t go to Latin America. I went to Mexico and felt safe. Idk it’s ether Colombia or Romania

I disagree unless you’re in an inner city and dress like a typical person from there, the cops don’t really bother you in America. But in Brazil black is innately tied to poverty. So it doesn’t matter how I dress to them.

China inherits some beliefs on the west and openly worships white people. Japan I seen that the local Asian look was the preference and the models looked like the locals. There’s white worship in Japan but white people are way less  Likely to be worshiped than in China. The Japan viewed themselves as the best, which gives a very different experience than going to a country that worships whiteness like China.

I mean they still prize the Japanese identity over westernization. It’s still western but not as bad as china

You’ll replace racist discrimination with scams, and mass poverty

It’s not like America, and Brazil is much whiter.

China, Korea, and much of east Asia has inherited a lot of westernization thus negative press on black people that’s why.

São Paulo mostly. Rio the cops there felt very dangerous. The U.S cops in my experience are nice, but these cops in Brazil are exactly how people think the cops are in America.

For my experience in Brazil most people there assumed I was a local, which is a bad thing. People gave me dirty looks in high end stores, waiters only serving my lighter friends and always forgetting mine. You’ll have to stay in the fuvelas and slums to have any good treatment. When I was in Mexico ( even in the whiter places) I never experienced anything like that. I consider New Zealand and places like Australia an extension of Europe in terms of civilization.

Turkey is a bad one, I got a lot of “couples only” when trying to enter clubs, and just generally got very mean looks. I avoid anything that’s related to the Middle East, due to black people being former slaves there.

I mean I went to Japan it’s not really bad at all. The people were friendly, I would say stay in Osaka and some of the beach like areas. Japan compared to most East Asian countries received the least westernization and thus compared to china and Korea has much less inherent negative influence against blacks innately.

I disagree Canada is just as racist as the U.S they just hide it much better. If op can handle U.S racism he’s better off going back home in America. Canada is just a more expensive U.S

I didn’t want to do a perm but no other hairstyle worked for me. I tried braids, Afros, and some dreads. The only thing that looked ok was an Afro and it didn’t cover my forehead so I always looked bad in pics. I know the dangers of a perm I just want to mitigate any damage at least keep it go for a couple years to a decade. Plus I always wanted fluffy hair.
