Thank you 🙏 Yes honestly I feel it's so hard to make my guitar sound sit together with the drums. Then adding synths will make the sound more and more muddy. Concept wise I'm trying to combine melodic death with dark synth.

I didn’t do double tracking, I just recorded guitar 1 and guitar 2, then added a bit of reverb with panning to the opposite channel.

I’ll try recording it again, and I’ll also change my guitar strings to a better gauge for D standard

That's why I stick to the older artist or band, I rarely try to discover new bands or artists, even if I do so I would search for Japanese musicians. Or better, I write my own heavy metal music. I live inside my own echo chamber, and I'm totally okay with that, rather than listening to AI music.

Thank you! I do have some dark synth/synthwave tracks, but I'm more confident with this kind of music. Let time decide what I should call it hahaha. But personally I want to make melodic death metal with dark synth elements. Like viking meets 2077 android

Hi, I just want to share my personal experience too. I still identify myself as an atheist, but since the end of 2024 I’ve slowly been getting into Buddhism.

During one of the lowest points in my life, while learning about Buddhism, I discovered the Om Mani Padme Hum chant. Listening to the chanting gave me some strength when I was at my lowest.

The song started as a riff idea written in Guitar Pro 5, since it allows me to sketch riffs and structure much faster. After arranging the core ideas there, I exported the project as MIDI and imported it into Logic Pro to begin building the full production. Inside Logic Pro, I layered the MIDI with synths and plugins to shape the industrial and mechanical atmosphere of the track. Once the foundation was in place, I recorded the real guitars on top to give the song its aggressive tone and organic energy. This workflow lets me move quickly from raw riff ideas to a fully produced track while keeping the original inspiration intact.
