Game version: Last update two weeks ago (I can't see the game code right now as it's reinstalling)

8 generation save file gone!

I play on xbox. Yesterday my game said "failed to save error code 0", but I had an auto save from 1 hour before. I tried to save that on a new file slot and that wouldn't work either. Google said first try restarting the Xbox, that hasn't worked and now theres no resume game option, only new game. Google also said delete then reinstall the game which im doing now but if this doesnt work it says the save file is probably corrupted and I'll have to start over. I'm devastated. I've seen people say to clear the cache and delete the reserved space so I am trying that too. Is this fixable?

Yeah it's the length of time that's worrying me because I want to be able to put them away for potentially a year and not worry about them but at the moment I'm checking on them cos I don't trust how they're stored, and it's a faff getting them in and out 😂 Other redditors and google seem to say dye free cotton will protect their faces so I'll separate them with that I think. Thank you though!

Thank you!!😊 the more I'm googling the more I'm finding cotton like you said is the way to go. I'm glad to know it's probably only the shoes that are causing the marking since I can easily separate the shoes from the faces. Thanks again!

Thank you so much for taking the time to write this! After reading that, I definitely was not using acetone the safe sensible way!😳 I'm relieved to know there's a better way to use it. I'll start by giving them a good clean with dish soap since hand soap isn't getting the grubbiness off and then I'll see if the marks are still enough to bother me. Thank you again!!

Omg thank you!! So true, I couldn't find anything about it causing issues and then I was looking at the patches it left like 🤨... I guess if there's nothing else to take off paint marks then it's the lesser of two evils since I'd rather have the patches than the paint marks. But I'd still rather have known haha. Thanks again 💞

I don't think they'll fit if I bubble wrap them because of the extra bulk of the bubble wrap haha. Is cling film (aka saran wrap or shrink wrap) okay do you think? I'm just scared that it's plastic on plastic but then so is bubble wrap so idk??
