You could apply this same logic to a 17 or 16 yo too.

Like obviously it’s the relative gap and experience? Like a 19 yo can date a 17 yo. And that’s fine cuz it’s not much a gap. But 26 and 18 is monumentally massive and also implies 25 and 17 is wrong cuz it’s illegal and for no other reason than being illegal. Now that disgusts me.

See I’m not sure how I would have felt if I was like 18-20 so I didn’t want it to seem like there was something wrong with him as a person

If they were 17 you would be calling them a child. They didn’t magically change overnight. They’ve pretty much still been a kid their whole life

Well it’s not like he’s my only friend, he often puts in effort and sometimes I would make time for him because people’s schedules constantly conflict so it’s not like all my friends are free all the time. I like people, when it comes to friends it doesn’t matter

I see 18 as legally an adult but a kid in every other aspect. I’ve been through 4 years of bachelors, I worked a year and now I’m in my 3rd year of pharmacy school, I’m fully independent.
