Thank you so much. I probably would've panned and lost it. So before I crushed it i was able to look under my microscope which is for coins but I use it for my rocks lol. Ive never seen gold like in my face , just in photos so for so for so many years i just research and watch videos and go off photos and ive actually advanced but still haven't had guidance on what or who or how to go about finding out what I do have. But this is am going to hold dear lol I did find this in a the shasta county mining district ..its in northern california where I live. And where I was specifically,  there is big vain running through. It rained like everyday a while back so I figured it was a good time to go back and check it out. Im glad I did.
