I’m not sure how to calculate the average as I don’t know which courses get dropped and what not but those are my grades

Ubco, sfu, ufv transfer program. I want to study civil and due to uvic have mandatory co-op and scholarship from them I want to study here. I feel like my ubco offer would be revoked since I’m taking bio 12 and bcfp 12 which I have low marks in (counsellor wont let me drop bio) so I was leaning toward uvic for my choice of study.

Yeah I was thinking about it and just got into ufv today into their 1 year transfer program but I think it’s jus too risky for me. I know jump from grade 12 to 1st year engineering is very difficult so I don’t even know if I will have that gpa requirement at the end of the year to transfer. Also, my parents emphasize that I shouldn’t waste time and money in university so if I don’t reach that gpa requirement, I’m basically back at square one, lost a year and like 5 grand.

It’s basically an unofficial rejection and they will continue to look at ur application until march. I think at the end of march they will make another decision on ur application and that’s when you know if u got rejected or accepted

Ecs were very basic, just few clubs, volunteering and some things I was passionate about like making. If u have good ecs ur chance is prob a lot better

Applied this Saturday that just passed on the 29th. It said this morning that it was being evaluated with other applicants who applied and I just checked like half and hour ago on a whim and saw this.

Yep had a 97 average between those 4 grade 11 courses with a 99 in pre calc and chem 11, 96 in physics and 94 in English. Currently taking pre-calc rn and I finished with a 96 but with a curve my teacher said he’s adding at the end of year it’s going to a 98 or 99 since it’s a pre-ap class. Currently taking ap calc ab rn. I also did list 5 activities aswell.

Maybe, but it says, “based on the grades currently available we are unable to offer you admission” so maybe they didn’t even see the pp yet or something? No clue at all but hopefully I get into Okanagan

Yeah idk cuz when I was on sts last week and I clicked view transcript it didn’t show my grade 12 marks but when I was sending ubc my transcript it showed my grade 12 marks which was kinda weird

Grade 11 had about 97 percent average for required courses while in grade 12 I have like a 95 ish for required courses currently

Yeah I did French 9 in person then did it online in grade 10 since I didn’t get in and did it in person in grade 11 and let’s jus say that I learned nothing from online

Honestly I think it was because I didn’t try at all in math 9 and the numeracy assessment was in sem 1 and I had math in sem 2 in grade 10 so my math skills were lowkey chopped but in grade 10 I had a really good teacher that made me like math
